Recently Purchased PS3 and Need Help

So I bought a PS3 last night (finally!) and now I'm fortunate enough to own the three current consoles. However, since I've been following mostly news about the Wii and 360, I'm out of the loop. What is everyone playing on PS3? Do people play MAG still, or was that a temporary distraction?

I bought Little Big Planet and Modnation Racers because I like the Create Play Share titles, but I want some more hardcore experiences that I could only get on the PS3. I like all genres, so shoot away with titles. Any suggestions?

Yes people still play MAG, I still play it twice a week with clan mates. (best played with a clan.)

Demon's Souls if you like RPGs and it is a great RPG and its hard.

Folklore
and more... (not home atm so I cant think of them all. )

Already got it for the 360 because all my mates have it on 360. I figure most multiplayer games that are cross-platform I'm going to buy on 360 for that reason. But it's one hell of a game, eh?

Yes because MGS3 is set as a prequel. MGS4 is the story continuation from the MGS2 timeline.

EDIT: But seriously, go play MGS3. It's good.

Anyway to play it on PS3? Mine isn't backwards compatible--MGS3 isn't available at the PSN store, is it?

MGS3 comes before MGS1.

You can only get MGS1 on PSN.

To Anwerse your previous question about MAG( If your still intrested that is) It really didn't take that long to unlock the maps that had the 256 players on them Mind you I still had to play a few games on the starting maps. Bur all and all that was all just a few I didn't have to play like 100 matchs to unlock the later modes.

Look at all the platinum games on Play.com or somethin' they games that nearly every ps3 owner has played.
