This thread would be several times more awesome if BRIAN BLESSED had done the voice for a character in a game. Any character, any game. It can be made better with BRIAN BLESSED doing the voice.
I'm pretty sure this is the reason I bought Fire Warrior.
He's in that too? o_O

Alright people who have replied to me, apparently BRIAN BLESSED is in a bunch of games. I want to know the name of each and every one of them.

When i play a new Bioware game i keep my ears open so i can recognize the old cast that appears in all of their games one way or another.

Specifically Jennifer Hale, Raphael Sbarge, and Kimberly Brooks.

Theres also Steve Blum who voiced the original Cpt. Foley in the first [and one of the best] games ive ever played, Call of Duty 1, and numerous other games as well.

I had a good laugh at him talking about "the voice" in this video.

Also ill say a random fun fact for you all to think on: John DiMaggio, the guy who voices Marcus Fenix, also voices Bender From Futurama.

Yeah

I loled so much, after opening the first image I was expecting that the second one was also something eastern oriented then it happens to be Duke Nukem.

Why did they chose the voice of Duke to play the voice of the cat?

"So, what characters did you voiced?"
"Duke Nukem"
"Ah, what a perfect match then. Welcome aboard"
"Fuck yeah"

PS: The cat is from Sonic, right?

Oh and the Quarian dude in Mass Effect 2, Kal'Reegar, the one voiced by Adam Baldwin. Ya, now I see him as Jayne under the mask. Which is odd since every time I watch Firefly and see Jayne I always think of Angels Marcus Hamilton...
"The Hero of Haestrom, the man named Kal'Reegar!"

Same here, man. Actually, ever since I got into Firefly, I have come to realize that Adam Baldwin winds up in everything. He's in Independence Day as a Secret Service agent, he does some voices in Halo 3 and ODST (alongside Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion, no less), he popped up in an episode of Bones once...

That man is everywhere.

Actually had this problem with Star Trek(the new movie), they had Sylar in the role of Spock and in every scene I was expecting him to be splitting some heads, especially that cocky Kirk.

If you play jrpgs or watch anime dubs, it happens all the time. They always use the same voice actors. I get tired of hearing Johnny Yong Bosch and Yuri Lowenthals voices. I remember being unable to watch the Bleach dub because every time Ichigo spoke, I was thinking of Vash the Stampede and it annoyed me immensely.

Last year I played Starcraft 2 fairly close to spending hours platinuming FFXIII. Was sick of lightnings voice, and then I had to put up with it again in Starcraft 2. Joys. Fortunately she was a more minor role in SC2.

Oghren from the Dragon age series, is also the voice of the main character in Bulletstorm pretty good at picking him out, but not actully sure who the actual voice belongs too.

It was so distracting playing FFXIII because I couldn't not hear Liara's voice every time Lightning spoke. I don't think I noticed it on my first playthrough (because I found the dialogue so grating I skipped most of it) but the second time around, I was like, "JUST USE YOUR BIOTICS!"

I have a slightly different issue, every time I see a big bad, I go

"Huh, I think this would work better with Cliff Simon [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cliff_Simon] reading it."

Hell, that happens with pretty much every character I see.
Ba'al is awesome indeed. I think he's my favorite villain from Stargate: SG-1.

Thanks to their use of a particular VA, everytime I play Bulletstorm all I can think of is

"I'm goddamn Wolverine"
thats a good thing.

for me i always recognise Patrick Stewart. i almost bought the new Castlevania because of that.
then i realised the game is shit (in my opinion!)
