I'd suggest getting Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. It's a little hard, but it has a lot of content, in addition to having a really good storytree and some phenomenal writing.

As far as Lock's Quest, never heard of it. Try asking the employees at your local gaming emporium?

EDIT: Also, this is the main theme from SMT:DS. Yes, the rest of the soundtrack is all rock influenced. No, this is the only one with vocals.

Either of the Advance Wars games (Dual Strike and Days of Ruin/Dark Conflict) are excellent turn-based strategy games, and will last ages. I've put over 300 hours into my copy of dual strike. Similar type of game but with RPG elements is Fire emblem: Shadow Dragon, or you could try Disgea DS. I also personally loved Kirby Superstar Ultra, there's like eight games on there, and although they are fairly easy and quick, are a lot of fun. Bangai-O Spirits and Big Bang Mini are pretty fun shmups, and for some simple zen fun, I really don't think you can go past Soul Bubbles.

Some excellent RPGs include several of the old FF games (FFIII and FFIV), Chrono Trigger (bloody fantastic!), Lunar Knights, The world Ends with You, and Rune Factory. Dragon Quest is also supposed to be a good series.

Haven't played Locks Quest yet, but my housemate is enjoying it, try looking around the department stores or second hand sections of your local game retailers, if you find it it should be pretty cheap too. Picked up a copy in Kmart here for $20 Australian.

Golden Sun, originally for the Gameboy Advance. I dwear, I get tears of nostalgia when I hear that music.

and frustration, I got stuck due to being a young silly boy.

Like everyone else, I recommend The World Ends With You. I'd also throw votes to the Mario RPGs, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Professor Layton.

Can't go wrong with the Ace Attorney and Castlevania games.

All of 'em. You'll thank me later.

Elite Beat Agents.

Anyone with a DS should own it. It may not be long-lasting per se, but you can play it over and over and over without tiring of it. It least, I don't.
