I need some really epic guitar solos. It has to be a slow tempo. You know that slow but awesome guitar solos that take their time to build up the epicness then bamm. Eargasm. I have heard thousonds of solos that are just full on shredding and non stop hamer on-pull off. I porberly don't make much sence but i just want some songs with long and slow epic guitar solos. I'm being quite specific but i know it's out there. Example kind of like the music in hawx 2.

More or less anything by Buckethead, I think he's made his career out of writing songs that are just solos. There'd be quite a few of the kind you're looking for as well, Soothsayer would be one I'd recommend.
23 by Jimmy Eat World has a few scattered throughout, sound amazing and fit brilliantly with the rest of the song. That might just be my inner fanboy showing through though.

Or anything by Frank Zappa. I don't know if you'd count them as solos but the guitar work involved is undeniably awesome.

I love buckethead. I have like 20 of his albums. Soothsayer is awesome. I was think more of the lines of giant robot (the song) or binge and grab if you have heard those two songs. (although binge and grab isn't very slow). What buckethead albums have you heard?

This is more experimental speed metal. Just saying. Nothing wronge with experimental or A tonal music but not too big on the speed metal.

May or may not be what you're looking for, the solo starts about halfway in.

And what a solo.

EDIT - Fix'd broken vid.

EDIT 2 - <youtube=V-oU7rSb0mY>

Go to 2:15 that guitar/flute solo.

Another Terakai -
Plonk that one to 2:08 for the build up & the solo after.
