There's a large DDO crowd here it seems and I can't blame them, since it's a bloody awesome game.

Also, stay away from runescape, it's composed from the words "run" and "escape" for a reason.

No love for Second Life? For shame people. Easily my #1 pick. The fact that I can pay my rent with the income I earn in that game doesn't hurt either. The game currency can be converted to and from USD, so it's a lovely little business. Make sure you're 18+ though.

DDO too. Though a grind-fest.

Quick shout-out to Atlantica Online as well. Best squad-based mmorpg I've seen.
