Help me ESCAPE my boredom!
I was going to, and then you pulled out this gem.

Edit: But for fear of being hit by an admin or something:
I was bored the other day and started watching South Park, they've got about 130 or so episodes on Netflix instant stream and all buy maybe 2 of them of hilarious.

Snatch, Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels.
I suppose it was inevitable that someone got these in before me.

Some films off the top of my head:
- Digimon the Movie (Shut up, it's good)
- Soldier (Kurt Russell on a garbage planet killing things)
- The Sixth Day (ARNIE!)
- Equilibrium (Is sick)
- Gattaca (not as much action as the above)

That's a good documentry on pool cleaning.

OT:I would go with Tron, Gundam. . . .well any of the movies will do as long as you know some of the back story from the first series. Mortal Kombat for a guilty pleasure, Commando for ultimate hax, Robocop, Robin Hood Men in Tights, Spaceballs, and anything else by Mel Brooks, The Maltese Falcon and D.O.A. for Noir buffs. The Untouchables, The new Evangelion moives cause the original series is butt hurt. Terminator, stay away from salvation. Indiana Jones, the actual Star Wars movie before Jar Jar. And of course, Laberynth. Yes, that movie with David Bowie

If you're still interested in our movie suggestions, why not try out Robocop or Robocop 2, both of which are available on the instant queue. The first one is Moviebob's favorite! (Really, if you go through "Escape to the Movies" archive, you can find some movies that are bound to catch your attention some way or other.)

If you're up for a test of your intestinal fortitude, why not give Peter Jackson's DeadAlive/Brain Dead a go? It's also streamable and good to go. You could also catch the Ong Bak series there if you missed it when the first one was in theaters.

Oh, if you want something that you wouldn't have considered at all, try out Fritz the Cat. It isn't the 'porn' that was recommended earlier, but it was the first X-rated animated theatrical release in North American cinemas.

A clockwork Orange by Stanley Kubrick and Stalker by Andrei Tartovsky.

Ooh and this flick called Strange Days by that chick who directed the hurt locker
