I just noticed that it's somehow managed to slip through without a mention but Axecop is supposed to be pretty damn good.

For me, the novelty wore off pretty quick. So OK, it's based on a little kid's twisted imagination, but there's only so much surrealism you can get at once.

Also, I think nobody mentioned Order of the Stick yet. Although it's quite text-heavy, I think it's really worth going through the 778 episodes so far to catch up on the plot... and I'm not really helping my case at all, am I?

I should warn you though that the archive is very large as the author has published a strip every day for the past ten years. The first six "books" are available in hard copy format though so that can help.
