Try Bible Black... Wait, what kind of anime are you into again?

Cowboy Bebop and Gurren Lagann I suggest heavily, but everyone here already said those 2 so... Try Deamans Wonderland?

Most have already been covered, but I'll throw in my own recommendations:

(*All of these that I'm suggesting are dubbed with the only exception being Persona 4 The Animation which will be available in dub form later next month*)

Naruto -Yes, yes, people dislike it, but it was my first real anime and it will stay in my favorites list.

Baccano! -1930s era gangster story told from the various perspectives of immortals.

Durarara! -A modern day story about gang wars, mythology, and some really great characters. (Izaya is so baller.)

Death Note -I haven't finished it yet, but from what I've seen so far, it's quite promising. Modern day story about Japan's smartest high schooler finding a mystical notebook that can kill anyone as long as their name is written in it.

K-On! -Cutesy show about High school girls and their adventures in a music club. Very light hearted and funny. And cute. Very cute. I almost died from the cuteness.

Persona 4 The Animation -Highschooler transfers to a school in the boonies and finds out he contains a mystical power of summoning other worldly beings and jumping inside the TV to save other highschoolers.

Gurren Lagann -An anime that's about achieving greatness by doing the fucking impossible. And it does just that. It doesn't take itself very seriously and it can be classified as "explosion porn", but it's still one of the best animes ever conceived.

Black Butler -Little kid had his family killed in a fire. Kid then proceeds to make a deal with a demon to protect him from further harm. The demon protects the child in the role of a fucking amazing butler.

Angel Beats -Dude wakes up and finds out he's dead and fights with other dead people in a world where they must confront a little girl named "Angel". The plot gets better so I won't spoil anything here.

All right no shit Digimon Tamers if you can get through the first 20 episodes of character building you will see that that is not a show for kids there is no way i understood that when i was a kid. Much better as an adult. Otherwise:

Code Geass
Cowboy Bebop

everything else was covered by everybody else.

I'm surprised by the lack of Bleach so far.

I'm not a big fan of Anime, but I must saw. If you want some good Ameri-me I must recommend Afro-Samurai, The Boondocks, and Black Dynamite.

That's really all the anime I know (also Pokemon). There's also Hentai if you feel like switching all your video related entertainment to Japanese cartoon style.

EDIT:

OT: I remember enjoying Devil May Cry from when I watched it. There's also Wolf Rain, Full Metal Alchemist, Fist of The North Star, and Code Kiosk (I don't know how to spell it). But I know nothing about those.

Vision of Escaflowne - Pretty much a 'classic of the late 90s/early 00s' (whenever it was released/completed.

That along with "If I couldn't ____________, then what kind of butler would I be?"

Cowbow Bebop is always a solid choice for just about anyone, although my taste in anime is a bit more quirky than I think yours will be.

I have enjoyed Soul Eater, Kirby of the Stars (the SUBBED version only, the dub sucks), Panty and Stocking plus Gilbert (which I still have no idea what was going on, but it was enjoyable at the very least) and Lucky Star (which I still and wonder who the show was originally intended for).

Almost forgot:
5 Centimeters Per Second
What can I say about this.
It is one of the most bittersweet romance movies I've ever seen.
I cry every time I watch it, and I love it.
One thing I gotta say about 5 Centimeters Per Second, the name seems pretty fitting, as that's how fast the plot seems to move. It was horribly boring for me

Oh this thread again? It's a good thing I enjoy this type of thread. I'd recommend:
Darker than black
Clannad, Air, or Kanon
Code Geass
Wolf's Rain
Stiens; Gate
Chaos; Head
Ano Hana (it has a really long name but is usually shortened to Ano hana, translates to "We still don't know the name of the flower we saw on that day" roughly)
Baccano!
Spice and Wolf
K-on!
Angel beats!

Hey, I'm currently looking for Anime TV/Movie recommendations, I would appreciate any suggestions
I know you said you have no preference could you say anything you are not open to seeing like ecchi or something so I know what not to suggest?
I would prefer something that is serious and doesn't go for over a hundred episodes.

Only anime I've ever had the balls to sit through is High School of the Dead, which for the most part, I enjoyed immensely. Some parts got a little awkward with my younger brother sitting next to me. But it's cool for zombie-killing action and blatantly large tits. So there's that.

Anime is weird.

*Edit: Oh, and Lucky Star. That was kinda passive, but it was all right. All the girls are technically supposed to be overage, which is weird considering their size and figures. I guess that's the other end of the spectrum. All female anime characters are either little girls, scantily clothed idiots or blatantly oversexualized badasses. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Berserk, Claymore, Mnemosyne(quite weird and ecchi), Hellsing(make sure it is the OVA and not the 13 episode anime), Fruits Basket and Highschool DxD(quite ecchi and it is very aware of it) are good in my opinion. Other ones have already been mentioned. Highschool DxD is not for everyone and Claymore has quite an unsatisfying ending and is continued in the manga.

If your'e looking for comedy Anime that is actually consistently funny (something that is rather rare), I recommend "FLCL", "Gintama", "My Neighbors the Yamadas" and maybe "Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei" and "Azumanga Daioh"
