Red Orchestra
NO, NO NO NO NO NO ABSOLUTELY NOT, THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST GAMES I HAVE PLAYED FOR A LONG TIME
Silence! it is GODLY!, have you seen the tank battles?!

Meh you have a right to your opinion, but i would take Tripwire Interative over Activision anyday.
I have played Red Orchestra but if i recall, the only servers that were populated were on the east coast or Europe, which isn't good for a Seattlean like me.
Actually, I did like the tank battles, except that every damn person in the game wants to be in a tank by themselves!!!!!!
Okay this i agree with you, fortunately i was able to find some online friends to always play with on the Wild Bunch server.

OP perhaps you should look at Sniper Elite as well?
or the Killzone Series
Killzone 3 is gorgeous

4.) Call of Duty: United Offensive was the best call of duty.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl, Call of Pripyat(skip clear sky)
Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines(technically not an fps, but you can play it in first person)
Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 (beware this game is a Hyper-Realistic Simulator)
Battlefield, 1942(and its expansions) 2, Bad Company 2

OT:Indeed UO is Awesome.

SWAT 4 is a great game (and not too pricey now). It's not your usual FPS as the point is to not only stop the bad guys, but to do so while following police procedure. It takes quite a bit of skill, and good management of your team is just as important as the speed of your trigger finger.

Bad company 2 is really good.
Didn't like Bad Company 2 much at all.

BattleField: Vietnam was my favorite battlefield, and after 2 it just got a bit

Have you tried it at all or just going off of the opinion of someone else? The PC port of Halo: CE is really good and the series definitely does not deserve all the hate it gets from the internet.

I have HALO:CE and thinking back it was actually decent on PC, but i lost my CD key and don't feel like sifting through everything to find it.

Doom but no Duke3d? Half-Life without an Unreal or Quake? No mention of Skynet (quite possibly the best game Bethestda ever made)? No mention of Tribes (though it was multiplayer only)?

I can approve of everything on the list but the things that are missing make me want to vomit with nerd rage.

Both System Shock games are among the greatest games I've ever played, I definitely recommend them. Also, try Clive Barker's Undying, another underrated gem imo.

STALKER SOC (get L.U.R.K mod or complete 2009 mod) and call of pripyat is pretty good as well

Damn. You seem to have every good FPS ever made on there (except a few key ones like Tribes and Quake). With the exception of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy. Which is what I highly recommend. Pure awesomeness that you just have to play to get.

Well, Quake was on there but I took it off, i didn't like any quake but 3. Unreal is too multiplayer even in singleplayer.

Also i have Tribes2 laying around somewhere but i think i scratched it to hell.

and Skynet you say? Is it any good or what?

Duke3D ill check if i have that any where, don't believe i do though.

Skynet takes place in post-apocolyptic LA in the Terminator universe. It came out in the mid 90's from bethesda. It was never a popular game however and I have no idea where you would find a copy. I still have my disc from 15 years ago and It's the only copy I know of in existance. It only runs in DOS and was never ported to any other platform so at the very least if you CAN find a copy you'll probably need an emulator. There are many aspects that will not have aged well I'm quite sure, but what made it notable was the sprawling outdoor levels and the fact that it captured feeling present in those seuqences of the future war in the Terminator Movies quite well.

Duke 3D was much more popular and has been seen on a number of platforms, most notably the N64. It is available on XBLA for 10 - 15 bucks, or on GOG. There was also a GBA game, but I wouldn't recommend it.
