No One Lives Forever, NOLF, and NOLF2, is good if you want a stealth-ish FPS, plus the story is a spin-off of 60's-70's spy movies. And when your ready for another RPG, you might look up Arcanum, a not so well known but awesome game by Troika, the original Fallout crew.

The Darkness - truly underrated, and I think it's one of the best games out there story-wise. If you're a fan of stories in games, fairly decent FPSs, and Italian-Americans saying 'Fuck' a lot, I'd suggest this one above all others. Besides, it's only about £7 in shops at the moment...

Timesplitters games, preferably 2 or Future Perfect. You will love them to death. And they will consume lots of time and you will love all the characters. Also incredibly funny writing in the games.
