I played the Demo for Wolverine Origins and unlike most movie based games it seemed really good. It plays kind of like god of war. Wolverine has several different layers so depending on the cut its either a ripped shirt blood muscleorgans or bone

Lost Odyssey.

A brilliant JRPG that'll give you 40+ hours of entertainment.

School just ended for me so i want to buy a new game for my Xbox 360. I already have Fable II, Halo 3, Gears of War 1, Bioshock, The Orange box and Crackdown. Could you guys please suggest give me a good game to buy?

Right now I'm leaning towards Oblivion or Fallout 3 but I can't make up my mind.
Spelling, grammar and punctuation are important.

Becarefull of all the people saying buy Oblivion or Fallout 3, they are both fairly heavy RPG's and you wanna make sure you like that kind of game before you buy them. I made the mistake with both.

But you CANNOT go wrong with Mass Effect, easily the best game on the console that you don't have, and it should be cheap as shit by now aswell.

OT: Prototype will be great when it comes out in a couple of days, but if you can't wait that long I recommend Assassin's Creed (maybe) or Left 4 Dead, especially since Left 5 Dead's coming out soon.
Assasins creed is good for a couple weeks. I came back to it recently and really enjoyed it. I'd reccomend Battlefield: Bad Company. It's a good realistic shooter, but with the fun of it being mostly explosion-based :)

Since it seems you're leaning toward all of the popular titles, just play what everyone else id playing: Halo Wars, Gears of War 2, Resident Evil 5, Fallout 3, and Left 4 Dead. Then no one will be able to pick you out from the crowd.

It all depends on what kind of game your after. If you were interested in either Oblivion or Fallout 3 then the real choice is really between Mass Effect and Fallout 3 (if not both).

If you want something else then an RPG I would recommend GTA IV or Saints Row 2. GTA IV for realism and heavy storyline or Saints Row 2 for mindless sandbox madness/fun.

I agree, but when you are typing your message as you are running out the door to go do something, I value the meaning of the message over the grammar itself

um, I'm leaning towards good games. I only have fable II because my friend gave it to me for free and I didn't like Gears of War. I like Halo 3 because the weapon system is pretty diverse and I just consider it to be really fun on multiplayer. Bioshock is amazing and the orange box is great games for a great deal.

There is a reason these games are popular. If Barbie's Pony express was a fantastic game, then I would probably buy that. That said, I don't find all the mainstream games to be fantastic. I buy the games that I find fun. If you can think of an unknown game that is amazing and that i should buy just so that I can be an "individual" then please recommend it to me. Don't act all elitist because I buy games that I find fun and you don't but thats okay because no one else buys them.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I should try CoD, but its still pretty expensive and I really want to get some bang for my buck. I might buy mass effect as well as whatever game I'm buying cause its so cheap.

right now I'm leaning towards Fallout 3 but I have a question about oblivion, is it as dull as Yahtzee said it was? I know not to take everything as hyperbole, but is the gameplay worse environmentally or more bland or is it more involved. from what I've seen, it seems that Fallout 3 links the towns with the environment more seamlessly than Oblivion, like it's less about Land-Hub and more like Hub in Land. Can someone confirm or deny this for me?

Sure can. Condemned CO; video game gem with a great story telling arc (if you're a fan of Heroes you might find a certain voice actor very familiar).

F.E.A.R.; Great story and action, with a pretty cool Live scene. Except all the vets are pretty much gone and all the kids from 2 are coming over discovering that there was an original after all.

The Darkness; I think it got some hype when it was first released, but for the most part, it's a sleeper hit.

Or instead of forking over however many dollars on a game, go get yourself some Points if your Live capable and check out a few Arcade titles. Here's a few... just to name a few. N+, On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness(RPG?), Bionic Commando Rearmed (for that old school gamer in you)

... Elitist... that's funny.

Fallout 3 sucked.

So did Fallout 1 and 2.

Inb4 rage.
Yeah, probably that's why Fallout 1 and 2 were top games in most of "Best Games of All Times" lists. Few times. Gamespot, IGN, PC Gamer. Because they sucked so badly...

Bad troll is bad.

Overlord. You control minions who cause havoc and chaos. Pretty game, too.
It's fun for the first 3-5 hours. But then it gets really frustrating, as your minions are too stupid and die over and over again.

CoD 4 has great multiplayer and a griping solo campaign. For once you get to play as the Brits as well. Infact the SAS missions are the best.
Erm, you also get to play as the brits in CoD and CoD:2...

On topic, Crackdown is for the win with keys to the city, halo 3 is pretty decent if you have multiplayer, But id wait for ODST in autumn.

Um, if your not just about exclusives, go for Godfather II. Forget about Saints row and GTA - Godfather II is pretty much them, except more gory, much better combat, (Especially with the Hand-To-hand) And has some RTS style-features. it also has a good story, and its better than the other two major crime sandboxes overall.

Red faction is great too, Ima chargin mah sledgehammer...

If you wanna get one of the bethesda games, get Fallout. Its pretty much oblivion with GUNS.
I wasn't suggesting CoD4 is the only game to let you play as a brit, look at all of the james bond games, I just said its not common.

Im not a fan of sandbox games myself but loads of people love them.
