Halo reach is good if you want mindless shooty fun.

Put aside your apprehensions and give it a shot, and you might be pleasantly surprised.

I'm boycotting Halo:Reach and I want to be one of the few boycott people who AREN'T hypocrits.

Why boycott it? It's hardly a sell out, it was Bungie's farewell to the series, and they wanted to bring themselves full circle. Not to mention that it varies wildly from the last Halo games in design and story. Now if it was a Halo game made by a different company, that I could understand.

It seems like Halo 3 all over again.

The game I recommend to everyone. The Darkness. It's on PS3 and 360 for next to nothing. An action packed FPS where you have control over awesome Daemon powers that are powered by the dark. It has the best done story of any game I have ever played. Made by the same people who made the Riddick games. I wonder if the demo is still available.

It's actually completely different. There's a different orchestral score, there's no dual-wielding, the graphics have been severely improved, there's a fresh perspective from a different set of characters, The way the Elites behave has been changed to make them a far more challenging enemy, there's armor customisation that appears in multiplayer and campaign, the list goes on. Don't be afraid of jumping on the bandwagon if what you're jumping on is good.

You could always get The Saboteur. It's Assassin's Creed set in 1940s Paris. Very fun game. Unfortunately my Xbox is broken so I can't play it anymore.

How is BBS? I've heard mixed reviews.

The story's alot better than 358/2 (imo the weakest of the entire series, even Chain of memories was better), the battle system is so different from the previous games, but it is epically awesome. You can tag team the other 2 characters in battle using the command list, all your abilities level up individualy and once you've mastered all those abilities, you can then meld them together to create completely unique new ones. The battle system is just awesome, you can change styles mid battle depending on what combos you chain together to complete your finishing gauge.
Trust me... buy it!
If you're a KH fan, fuck all the reviews and what friends tell you, buy it.
