Recommend me a good abridged series

Attack on titan abridged. Its amazing but there is only one so far and its been out for like over a year, we are waiting.

Keep waiting, they are unfortunately unable to continue the series due to copywright infringements by the original creators. They came down on them and told them to stop. So, it's probably not going to continue, which sucks, but that's the current situation. This might change later of course, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it.

Its not actually an abridged series but you should look into the English dub of Ghost Stories. Its an anime that the voice actors were given a bare bones plot synopsis and told to go wild with it to make a generic horror/adventure anime sell. Its pretty easy to find a best of jokes reel on youtube if you wanna see if its your thing.

edit: Forgot to mention that it is pretty short too, only 20 half hour episodes so its pretty easy to finish.

Compared to the standard anime, 20 episodes isn't short, as many are only 12-13. That does sound pretty interesting though

Yeah, the gang at TFS did an update about it a while back, explaining the situation in one of their TFS news clips. I got the impression that they would be more than happy to continue if they ever got the greenlight from the original creators, but they aren't optimistic about it.

TFS's Lanipator did a Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged series wayyyy long ago. I found it pretty hilarious. "I'm a freaking demon. Look. My hands have fracking mouths on them!" "Yes, and I'm sure your nightly ritual is fantastic." Also, "Helen." I don't want to spoil it, but it's quite quotable.

Before they formed TFS, they did do DBZ's The World's Strongest and The Dead Zone (not the new version they just did with the Team Four Star logo). I don't know if they had a falling out with some other contributors with those two videos or if the vids are just old shame, but you have to look on YouTube for re-uploads of those two. They're worth at least one viewing each.

Also, I've been meaning to check out Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Abridged. Watching the finale with Dio reading off a FAQ has my interest.

There's another one that's great. It's called Abridge on Titan, don't get discouraged by the thumbnail art, and watch at least second episode before deciding to follow them.

and recently i got into 'Project Voicebend' a Legend of Korra Abridge that's hilarious~

but yea, i've seen most of the others already mentioned: TFS DBZA, Attack on Titan one, Hellsing one, LittleKuriboh's Yugioh, and a lot of the rest, really funny stuff...

i remember one for Black Lagoon/DeathNote cross, it was like 'Dark Pond' or something, basically had the Lagoon crew working for Light somehow, pretty cracky~

There was a Game of Thrones abridged (done in cartoon) that was good XD

Attack on Titan failed to sustain my interest after 2 episodes. But I really liked Abridged on Titan.

Hilarious, but suffers from a very slow release schedule. Episode 5 is up, we can expect episode 6 sometime around Q2 2017.

A Slap on Titan is really good. They're up to 12 episodes. It's debatable if it's technically an abridged series or just a gag dub/cut, since each episode is roughly as long as an actual episode, but it is really funny.
