I hear Ikaruga's [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ikaruga] really good, if you're into shoot-em-ups. Also, Banjo Kazooie's 1200 points if you want a little nostalgia. I also believe Braid costs 1200 points if you don't have it.

Ok, Castle Crashers is 400 points off right now. So do yourself and your close friends a favor and get them to buy it with you. Play some online, or play on the same Xbox if you can get together. Easily tops my list as my favorite XBLA game (Shadow Complex as the second).

Castle Crashers
Rez HD

Already have all of those except for Rez.

And as for the deals currently going on, the only one I'm interested in is either Banjo-Tooie or Uno-Rush. I already have the ones I want that are listed, and Castlevania I have the PSone Classic version on my PS3.

o3o Keep going, guys.

This. Castle Crashers is a great game and you will not regret buying it. Playing with your friends justs makes the game even better. My friends and I used to play this game for hours on end, it is very fun, especially the free for alls you have after you save a princess. The free for alls are intense and if you win you get to kiss the princess! Seriously though you should get Castle Crashers.

You can recommend Indie games too, if you like. I already have "I made a game with Zombies innit" and "Breath of Death VI"

Shadow Complex, Dishwasher Ninja (forget the real name), Braid, Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, or Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Oh, and maybe Worms 2: Armageddon!

Settlers of Catan. Trust me son, you may like this game. A video game version of a very popular and long running board game that's up there with Monopoly and Life in Europe. You can even download a demo and give that a try. Game's only 800 MSP.

I think you should wait til Monday Night Combat comes out, which will be in a few weeks i think.

Other than that you cant go wrong with Braid, Shadow Complex and Castle Crashers.

Just those three are better than most of the games I buy for 60 bucks.

Well, the deals at the moment are Marvel vs Capcom 2, Shadow Complex, 'Splosion Man, Castle Crashers, and TMNT, all of which are great except TMNT.

It's hard to make recommendations other than that because you didn't give any guidelines, so I suppose I'll just list my favorites in order from best to worst.

Personal Favorites

Bionic Commando: Rearmed (400 pts at the moment)
CastleVania: Symphony of the Night (800 pts) [re-release of PS2 game]
Worms 2: Armageddon (freezes often, but I love it anyway) (800 pts)
Portal (800 pts at the moment) [re-release with additional content]
Castle Crashers (? pts)
'Splosion Man (? pts)
Marble Blast Ultra (400 pts)
Outpost Kaloki X (? pts)
Mega Man 10 (800 pts)
Marvel vs Capcom 2 (? pts) [re-release of Xbox/PS2 game]
Mega Man 9 (800 pts)
Trials HD (? pts)
N+ (? pts)
Magic: The Gathering (800 pts)
Doom II (800 pts) [re-release of PC game]
Bomberman Live (? pts)
Perfect Dark (800 pts) [re-release of N64 game]
Puzzle Quest (800 pts)
Small Arms (400 pts)

Also worthy of mention, but not personally enjoyed enough to warrant purchase

Shadow Complex
Duke Nukem 3D
Banjo-Kazooie
Super Street Fighter II: Turbo HD Remix
Geometry Wars 2
Catan

okay, so I've commited the cardinal sin of never having played portal. would I be better off buying the version on arcade (that's half off) or the orange box version.

and no, playing it on the pc will NOT be an option for me.
