Recommend me an Xbox Arcade game? :D

okay, so I've commited the cardinal sin of never having played portal. would I be better off buying the version on arcade (that's half off) or the orange box version.

and no, playing it on the pc will NOT be an option for me.

Well, the Arcade version is only Portal with a few extra challenges, so if you at all like Team Fortress 2 and Half-Life, I'd go for Orange Box. If you haven't played them, I'd still suggest Orange Box.

Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Braid, or Wolfenstein 3D. Also, if you're on the portal thing, get the orange box. I didn't think I would play HL2, but I did and loved it.

Doom, Shadow Complex or Geometry Wars would all be safe bets.

Doom has held up REMARKABLY well throughout the years, I played Doom 2 when it came out on XBLA and that was the first time in a long while that I found myself trying to physically dodge fireballs in my recliner, I felt stupid, but man was it fun.

But Braid was one of the greater gaming experiences of my life when it came out last summer (last summer? Two summers ago? I forget).

If for some reason you haven't played it, Portal. I don't play much XBLA, or kss-blah, as Yahtzee puts it, games, so I can't really say much other than Portal.
