Baccano is awesome. You should definitely watch that. Anyway, here is a list:

Ergo Proxy - Psychological thriller. Really interesting to watch
Code Geass - Guy with the power to control people tries to take over the world. What's not to like?
Darker than BLACK - Has some really awesome moments.
Death Note - Why have you not seen this? Even people who don't watch anime have seen Death Note...
FLCL - Weird and wonderful. It's all about a guy who gets hit in the face by a guitar and then a robot grows out of the lump. Seriously the weirdest thing you'll ever watch but it's still awesome.
Elfen Lied - Do you like gore, boobs and a surprisingly good story? if so, watch Elfen Lied.

Look at my character and guess what...its Clannad (Also Clannad: Afterstory), its the best anime/ visual novel I have ever watched, its cute, good drama, and did I mention cute!
