Hmm, how about some Dutch death/doom in the form of Asphyx and Hail of Bullets? Both are rather similar musically, containing several shared members and near-identical writing styles. Massively heavier-than-a-bulldozer walls of guitar, comprising tremolo riffage and slower groove-based riffs, a strong thick production and Martin van Drunen's trademark vocals, which sound like his vocal chords are being put to their limits, conjuring the visions of soldiers screaming and dying in trenches. It's all really perfect stuff, and some of my favourite death metal.

Edit: There's also slower, melodic and somewhat "epic" songs as well. Which is actually some of the best material.

Looks like you prefer the harder forms of punk, based on your other genres. The Exploited's later albums, maybe? Only really bothered with Beat the Bastards, but it's brutal and everything.

If you want to try something new there's always Swedish trallpunk. It's what I listen to mostly, after thrash metal. It's melodic punk, basically. Might not be fun if you don't speak Swedish though. If you(or anyone else) do happen to like it I got some simular bands I can list.

As far as Death Metal goes I personally like Amon Amarth.

My favorite sub-genre of Metal is Power Metal so I'll give you something form that as well.

Sabaton, one thing I like about them is the singer has a much lower voice then most Power Metal acts.

Early Man:
They were sort of like a never version of early Black Sabbath mixed with some heavier stuff.

Here are two, a little bit more obscure metal bands

And if you want to try something new, have some electro-swing and future pop:

You like death metal, you say? Well I like death metal. Here are some suggestions.

This last one is a band that is really hard to get into, even by death metal standards, but is one of my favorite bands, so I can't not recommend them.

I hope there's something in there that you'll enjoy.

Gotta go with Candlemass here, its doom metal that reems of early Black Sabbath but with lots of modern sensibilities.

If you're into metalcore then you'll love Every Time I Die.
[spoiler- NSFW unless you want your colleagues to think you're a weirdo]Lots of groove and mathy bits as well, pretty fucking fantastic. I love a good metalcore band that aren't a bunch of whiny fucks.

I'm not sure how you feel about grindcore, but Trap Them are immense.

I'm really too lazy to give you links for all of these (I also figure you might have heard of a few), so have a nice list:
Converge (heavy, sludgy, mathy grandaddies of metalcore)
Protest The Hero (proggy post-hardcore)
Norma Jean (pretty solid metalcore, the earlier stuff isn't my cup of tea, it's a lot less melodic. Latest album was a banger though)
The Chariot (absolutely chaotic metalcore)
The Dillinger Escape Plan (awesome mathcore, lots of odd jazz bits and lots of pummeling awesome too)
The Bronx (punk 'n' roll type thing. Pretty upbeat, I always think of them as being like a pop-punk band if I liked pop-punk)
