So I just got Fallout New Vegas for the PC and since I have already beaten the game about 3 times on the 360 and am looking to change up the game quite a bit are there any mods you can suggest? I'm looking for mostly anything from really impressive and bad ass stuff to just random stupid stuff to spice up the game a bit. Also since this will be my first time using mods on a game I would be thankful for any suggestions you could give me. Thanks

I don't think NV had anywhere near as many great mods as Fallout 3 did.

Lessee what ones I had...

Project Nevada - general overhaul mod that I don't think drastically changes the pace of the game. It changes equipment, UI, and adds some features, all without tweaking things like AI intelligence or gun damage or healing. Some of the mods in this, like scope zoom, are hard to play without.

RH_Ironsights - improves or fixes some of the game's ironsights.

Weapon Mod Kits Expanded - as the name would imply, gives more weapon mod kits, and tweaks with how the game handles them

Fellout - removes that greenish tint in the game. The absolute best mod for its size

Interior Lighting Overhaul - makes insides darker

Electro Cities - makes the Wasteland have streetlamps: suggested with mods that makes nights darker.

Fallout Character Overhaul - all the character faces don't look stuck in the deepest edge of Uncanny Valley

Spice of Life - aesthetic change, makes it so everyone isn't wearing the same exact clothing as everyone else

EVE (Essential Visual Enhancements) - makes every blood spurt, energy impact, disintegration, explosion, and other combat-related events so much cooler

If you're going to get a lot of mods, or really big ones, you're gonna want to get the fallout mod manager. It does a good job of installing the mods and loading them in the right order so they don't conflict...as much.

As far as mods themselves, Project Nevada is pretty awesome. Adds things like bullet-time and sprinting as well as a ton of other combat rebalances that make it more challenging but fair. Then there's a more extensive implant system and some new weapons and armor too.

Outside bets adds a lot of the story content that was cut/removed from the game. Earliest example would be the powder gangers that were initially in Primm but were patched out for whatever reason, they're back. Another example would be some cut dialogue in Nipton when you first encounter the Legion.

The New Bison Steve Hotel and Casino is a fun quest mod where you rebuild the Bison Steve as the game progresses.

Caesars New Regime makes the Legion much more of a threat...and badass. I'd recommend getting NCR rearmament as well for some more interesting battles between the two factions.

I have to disagree with this, because I've been looking for some really good Fallout 3 mods and can't seem to find things that are truly amazing. I mean I've got the main standard ones for Fallout 3, but after that I can't seem to find anything that really adds more to the game for me.

OT:

Here are some of the ones that I have:

New Vegas Bounties 1 and 2- fun mod that adds bounty hunting to the Capital Wasteland and is similar to how it was in Fallout 3.

Nevada Skies- creates a realistic sky for New Vegas and adds in weather effects such as snow, rain, thunder and lightning, and sand storms.

New Vegas Restoration- this one returns the the Strip to it's former glory by making it look like a bomb never hit it. Combine it with the Freeside Restoration and you've got a great Vegas area.

Return to Seirra Madre- pretty much as the mod describes, it allows you to return to the Seirra Madre Casino from Dead Money.

Project Nevada- Rehauls the entire game, creating an amazing new experience. For this one I'll put the trailer for you:
