..or Firefly, Dr.Who, Torchwood, Star Trek, Andromeda, Heroes and Sarah Conner Chronicles. I have either seen them all or the little I have seen does not fascinate me. I love BSG, Firefle and Dr.Who, the others are 'meh' and I was wondering if there was any other sci-fi that I could sink my teeth into?.

Edit: and not Stargate

You forgot Stargate. If you didn't forget Stargate, then i'd recommend it. SG1 is about the punchlines. Atlantis is about the techno-babble. And Universe is about the soap opera drama. (seriously, there are 2 separate love triangles going at the same time.)

Firefly, seriously.

SG1 and Atlantis are also great, Universe is horrible.

Edit: And Babylon 5.

Edit again: You mentioned Firefly in your post, missed it when I skimmed over the first time, so nevermind.

Stargate Universe is basically BSG with Stargates, or so I heard.
I refuse to watch BSG, so.

Stargate Atlantis and SG-1 are also excellent.
But Universe is much more BSG-y than they are.
Pretty much this. Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis I both heavily recommend. The verdict on Universe is still out for me. I never watched BSG so I can't say how similar the two are, but I have heard that they're both very close in feel. I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm doubtful that I'll ever like it as much I did the other two.

Yeh, they're both really heavy into the drama. I don't like drama. I don't give a shit if Cloe gets pregnant with Scott's kid while secretly in love with Eli. I could care less if Colonel young leaves his wife for the hot nurse, only to have his wife cheat on him with Colonel Talfabritalard or whatever his name is...

Names were not change to protect the innocent. Because none of them are innocent. They're all sluts and man-whores. Except Eli.

And yes, ALL of that is actually in the show. I'm just predicting the pregnancy. But they've already had sex.

Stargate: SG-1's not too bad in my opinion. I feel it was better than the original Stargate movie. The spin offs are kinda terrible.
some of my friends are really into Eureka, i've only seen a couple of episodes myself, but enjoyed what i've seen. The old black and white Twilight zone used to play late at night, thats always good.

If your wanting to break out of the television box, I'm a huge fan of all of the Godzilla movies. The first one is really good, then ones after that are really goofy, and the recent ones are decent action flicks.

Hmm, well since you've updated and ruled out Stargate, the only other thing I can think of right now that you haven't already mentioned is Farscape. I haven't seen it in years, but I have fond memories of watching it when I was younger.

You might have wanted to say that earlier. Luckily, those are not my recommendations, which are Eureka and Warehouse 13. Both are quirky in their own way, and I like that in a Sci-fi series.

It was the dawn of the television age of mankind ? ten years after the last Star Wars film. The Babylon Project was a dream, given form. Its goal: to entertain sci-fi fans, by creating a show where humans and aliens are given interesting roles. It's a really good show ? entertaining and very interesting ? for nerds, geeks, gamers, and pretty much everyone actually. Humans and aliens, starring in a TV show, running for five seasons? and a 13 episode spin off. It can be an entertaining place, but it's our last best hope for good science fiction TV. This is the story of the last (and only) of the Babylon shows. The year is 1993 through to 1999. The name of the show is Babylon 5.

Yeah, check out Babylon 5. The spin off kinda sucks but the show is fucking awesome.

Damn for excluding Battlestar. Um, ok hows about Flashforward?. It's like heroes but not really with the heroes crap of superpowers and shit.

So Flashforward or Farscape

Did you also know that Torchwood is an anagram for Doctor Who? Mind blown anyone?

If you want to get oldies, then yeah Babylon 5 or even Blake 7. That's the '80s though, if you can look behind the bad set pieces then you're golden.

Get ye some Farscape. You cannot call yourself a Sci-Fi fan and not have seen Farscape.

...And then watch Battlestar Galactica again.

You know what you have to do, Son

Wait does Dollhouse count as Sci-fi?. If it does then you have Joss Whedon's Dollhouse to watch as well.
