Hmm, all the anime choices I would roll out have already been mentioned.

However, I do have one possibility: Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary)

There are only three episodes so far. It has a well executed mixture of drama, combat, character moments, humour, downright adorable antics and plenty of flirting and romantic tension. Lately, it's been rather drama heavy, but the female and male lead have a lot of tension, boundaries and...issues to work through.

It definitely feels like it's going down the romantic road, but definitely with some bumps along the way.

By the way, the animation is gorgeously detailed and fluid.

Well if romance anime is what you're looking for, there is a show call "B Gata H Kei - Yamada?s First Time". Its about some high school girl who wants to have a lot of sex buddies, but is inexperienced in that area. So she decides to try seduce some guy she thinks is a virgin. It's actually a very good romance title, and it's usually very hard for me to get into a show specifically for the romance.

There's also Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, a horror/comedy/harem series about a boy who meets up with a ghost girl who has amnesia. They eventually start a "paranormal" school club to help her regain her lost memories. This one does have a fare bit of fanservice, but most of it is actually used for comedy or character development.

As an KyotoAni fan, I'm actually am enjoying this show so far and completely agree about the animation, but I'm worry that the show might fall apart later on.
