I've been basicly teaching her to play games since she hasn't played much before me..so that very well may factor in. I'm aiming to find some RPG's worth Co-op'ing though FPS is all fair too. I Have an Xbox 360, Wii, and PS2- so yes, i will take PS2 recommends- after all they're still good.

How about some of the Lego games? They're a blast to play. Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is coming out this month.

Neverwinter Nights. I don't think you need to set up much to play together.

This sounds good but only buy one series. If you played one of them you've played all of them.

Portal 2. It's disorienting, but it does a pretty good job of making sure you have a handle on the controls before getting into anything too serious. Plus you'll both feel smart for solving the puzzles.

I can't speak for LBP2, but do NOT play Little Big Planet 1 co-op, despite how universally friendly it looks.

You will load it up with smiles, and end with weapons drawn under the hissing accusations of who fucked it all up echoing throughout your house.

Learned the hard way.

Smash Bros w/ girlfriend is actually pretty cool, from past experience (at least, the original).

Resident Evil 5. It's actually pretty fun and awesome, once you get used to the crap controls.

Haha, yeah Portal 2 all the way. Not an RPG, but 100% of couples who participate in cooperative portal testing are still deeply in love. It's fact!

Borderlands if you are more into the loot angle of RPGs and Tales of Symphonia if you're into JRPGs. I'd guess the rest of the tales games also have co-op, but I don't know for sure, and either way Symphonia has aged well :)

Portal 2 is a no-brainer.
Resident Evil 5 is basically only fun in co-op.

But more importantly,
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1&2, Champions of Norrath and Champions: Return to Arms on PS2. Buy all four NOW! They're fucking awesome.

Tales of Vesperia has co-op combat, I think. That's an RPG on the 360. And it's fantastic.

Gears of War 1 & 2 let you play through the whole campaign in co-op too.

Other than that... yeah, Portal 2.

Haha, so it Seems Portal 2 is Popular, obvious choice yes- i'm sure i'd carry her through the Co-op, im pretty good at Portal myself xD still a great idea though..
normally my list of games is better than this, but i cant seem to think of too many..hm.
Remember though, broad works too- i mean with some friends i can name many games not strictly advertised Co-op that still turned out to be a co-op experience: Unreal Tournament 3 split screen, Halo: Reach campaign, hm.. Champions of Norrath definitely.. if that broadens the topic any.
Oh and preferbly not PC..my rig is real outdated these days, and she's only got a Laptop that is kindaaa..meh.

^^ Unless they're older games..
As someone kindly suggested one of the BEST dungeon Crawlers ever: Diablo 2.
