As the title says I need some new RPG's to play because I am about to finish Persona 4 (I have already finished all the Persona games). The reason I don't want anyone to recommend Final Fantasy is because I have literally finished every single Final Fantasy game that has ever been released. So just give me your suggestions, and if its not to much to ask could you please tell me why you recommend them.

P.S. I was thinking about playings Skies of Arcadia, can anyone tell me if its any good, and if so is the GameCube version better than the DreamCast.

I don't know about the newer installments, but I really loved playing Phantasy Star Online.
I also play Diablo and Diablo 2.

Fallout 3 for one of the most recent.

Skies of Arcadia: Legends (the gamecube version) is an awesome turn-based game. Well worth playing.

I totally agree on Golden Sun and Golden Sun 2... and Diablo 2. I say those because Diablo 3 and Golden Sun 3 should be out soon.

I also agree on the Shadow Hearts series. Word of advice though... play them in order. SH3 may have a different storyline, but it has a few cameos and story bits to it that link to previous games. If you want the full story, get hold of a copy of Koudelka on the Playstation 1. Shadow Hearts is a spin-off story based on Koudelka.

Speaking of PS1 games... Legend of Dragoon is one of the best I know of. Ok, so there are very noticable points where they didn't check the spelling in the dialog, but still...

Suikoden games in general, rock.
Wild ARMs 1-3 (4 was cack and I haven't played 5... There's "Code Alter: F" for the PS2, which is a remake of WA1)
Grandia series...

Finally, for the gamers who care about storylines and not how great the graphics of a game are... Guardian's Crusade on the PS1

Tales of Symphonia and Vesperia for the Gamecube and 360 respectivley. I have not played any other Tales games so cant recommend them. If you are an achievement person, the Vesperia achievements will be like crack for months, and feels great once you have them all.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.
I don't know if you can find that anymore though. It's really good regardless.

Agreed!!!

Yeah Golden Sun is good, Diablo 2 is also a safe bet (but get the Lord of Destruction pack if you decide to get it aswell).

I'd also like to point out, if you live in the UK, GAME stores actually have Fallout 1,2 and tactics in a collection in the bargin area. Its published by something called White...something... I can't remember the second word of it.

Contact for the DS.

Yes, seriously. It's a wonderful, wonderful game. Part hack-n-slash, part job juggler, part gastronomical meta-plosion. It's good.

Suikoden, Wild ARMs and Disgaea.
As much as I love Disgaea, I don't think it fits in with the RPG genre.
