If you're looking for more recent games, I've been having a lot of fun with several lately:
Metro 2033 - really fun FPS, it can be tense, good narrative (in the Half Life way)
STALKER: Call of Pripyat - quite similar to Metro, except more RPG. You can customize weapons and equipment. Big open world. Some super creepy parts (going into a dark tunnel, at night. Full of mutants. Yikes!)
Mirror's Edge - not as new, but if you haven't played it, it's worth trying. I've never played a FPS like this. You run and jump and climb and slide... like a FPS platformer but with story and lots of intense stuff.
Cryostasis - I just beat this last night. The game is great tho it has some technical issues. It's the most demanding game (graphically) I've played (Metro is in 2nd, Crysis 3rd) but you can easily lower settings for smooth gameplay. Very unique story telling. There's sort of a parallel narrative going on as you explore this crashed nuclear ice breaker ship. Cool elements of the game include going into a corpse to relive it's last moments (and change the past), as well as flashbacks at random points. Not super scary but there was a few very tense parts. Overall worth playing for sure.
Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty comes out in a few days. It's a great RTS, campaign will be long, awesome multiplayer... somewhat controversial format but IMO it's just a bunch of whining.
As to your list, honestly I haven't played any but I've heard good things about all of them. I wish I could have an anti social month to plough through some games
