Recommendations on Mario games

I've always liked Mario, and I loved all the three official 3D platformers. But it got a bit boring after a while. Still, I want to play some good Mario games, cause I've always loved that series. I hear good things about the Mario RPG's. Although I don't like the games with just the Mario label, like Mario Kart and Mario Party.

EDIT: Forgot to tell, but I've played All Stars, so I've played all the earlier Mario Bros. games and Super Mario World, and Yoshi's Island, the Mario Kart games, and one or two Mario Kart games.

Just wait for the New Super Mario Bros. Wii game. It looks like a great Mario game.

Get the Paper mario games there great because of no grinding and you can avoid most battles.

Ever played Super Mario Bros. 3 ? That is imo the best classic Mario game of all time. Many always give that title to Super Mario World but I don't because the former had such amazing and wonderful levels seperated between fantastic worlds, but the latter had you looking for secret exists, flying with a cape which I could never figure out all its functions, and very weird faces on Mario (especially after he died).

Oh and did I mention that SMB 3 had the Tanooki Suit? It's stone transformation could kill flamethrowers!!!

Ever played Super Mario Bros. 3 ? That is imo the best classic Mario game of all time. Many always give that title to Super Mario World but I don't because the former had such amazing and wonderful levels seperated between fantastic worlds, but the latter had you looking for secret exists, flying with a cape which I could never figure out all its functions, and very weird faces on Mario (especially after he died).

Oh and did I mention that SMB 3 had the Tanooki Suit? It's rock transformation could kill flamethrowers!!!

SMB3 hands down. It is still to this day my favorite Mario game.

I'd reccommend any of the Mario RPGs except for Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. That one just didn't deliver enough bang for the buck. Of course, I got it for free...

Luigi's Mansion. The best Mario game, partly because he's not in most of it.

Yeah, I've just tried a ROM and I have to say, that game is amazing (Referring to paper Mario)

Paper Mario series, especially Thousand Years Door. And Super Mario RPG on the Virtual Console. Plus there are the always fantasic Mario Kart games, and a personal favorite of mine, Luigi's Mansion.

The Paper Mario Series is really good also Super Mario RPG (Even though I prefer Paper Mario 2 a lot more. The final boss was awesome tough..). What about the Mario RPGs for the GBA and DS? What about New Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario World 2? (Yeah, you play as Yoshi but still..)

I've played that game already. And I was more referring to newer games. Aren't the old Bros. Games almost impossible to get, by the way?

Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. One of my favorite games of all time. Such a great game, the best of the Paper Mario games IMO.
