Red Dead R______ : What would you want in a sequel?

Red Dead Romance. It is basically a video game version of Brokeback Mountain where you must deal with being a gay gunslinger in the Old West. After your wife finds you in the arm of your gay lover, she raises a posse and kidnaps your lover. It is up to you to save him and stop your wife who has dedicated her life to putting an end to the gay lifestyle in the Old West. You must use your skills with the gun to put an end to your ex-wife by taking on religious zealots and close minded cowboys who will do whatever it takes to put an end to your "deviant behavior".

The story pretty much concludes itself, so I don't see why it has to be a direct sequel. RDRedemption isn't direct sequel to RDRevolver, after all. If it were up to me, I'd just use the RDR_ franchise to tell stories within various time frames of their Old West setting and with the odd reference to the other games thrown in to show they're all linked.

Red Dead Reaver: Its in the 1920s and Blackwater covers all of Great Plains and tall trees is 90% factory like what Nastas said and your too used to western life and have to earn your place in west elizabeth and new austin and later have to escape to Mexico to get away from the cops and somewhere along the line you can drive a tank! basically a repeat of Godfather plus the tank

Red Dead Retribution: Pretty self-explanatory, the sequel would be about vengeance of some sort.

Red Dead Reaper; you play as the grim reaper after he gives up his life of gathering souls and instead seeks his fortune on the old west.

So I know RDR has only been out a short while, but after finishing it I got to thinking how and when a sequel could take place. I was thinking with RDR showing us the era of the wild west dying, perhaps a sequel could take place in the beginning of the modern era, more specifically the great depression and the "public enemies" era of bank robbing.

Have the character as Jack Marston (John's son), set the tutorial levels in WW1 (he'd be around 21 then) and then have the rest of the game in the late 20s, early 30s. Have the story revolve around him either robbing banks or maybe hunting bank robbers as a reluctant government man. Have both cars and horses, open farmlands and packed cities. Basically a mafia meets RDR.

What do you think? What would you do with a red dead sequel?

OT: I like that idea except we need something other than the Mauser pistol for an automatic.
