Red Dead Redemption(xbox) campsite problems, HELP

Ok so when i go into my kit to set up my campsite nothing happens. Im not in a town or on a slope, its not giving me any message saying so. When i go and click on it it exits out of my kit and will do nothing. I have exited the game and re entered it from the dashboard, i have saved, and i have traveled by a stage coach to enable a loading screen....nothing works. I have looked all over the internet for a solution but i have found nothing. Please help me fellow escapists.

How far are you in the game? You could try to start a new game and see if that fixes the problem. If not, there are always rooms that you can buy and save there.

i beat it fully and i just wan't to fast travel.

Well, if you have high enough honor, then you can get stagecoach rides for free. That seems like your best bet.

This sounds like one of those really bizarre and completely obscure glitches that games get for no reason, such as my "walking left while in cover" glitch for Mass Effect 2.

Honestly, if you can't find anything online, the only thing I can suggest is to just hope it goes away eventually. Which things like this usually do.

whoa i used to have a television that would glitch and hitting that worked pretty well

i had a glich were is said sleep when i was near a bed. so i could not save, and no cheats were enabled. i fixed it by reloading a save from when before the glitch came up...
