Red Dwarf Is Back!

So ive just recently heard about Red Dwarf making its comeback over the easter holidays. Personally myself im excited to see how its going to turn out after a few years, all origional cast and does look promising. 3 new half hour long episodes over 3 days so should be awesome!

What do you think on Red Dwarf being back on TV?

I didnt believe it either when i heard it, then i actually saw a trailer on Dave, stil was unconvinced. I actually had to check the website to be sure but its official.

It is actually quite scary they havnt aged much at all! Its been years since they finished season 8. Lets hope that the 3 new episodes motivate them to do more and lives up to expectations.

Oh they have aged. There was a picture in the Sunday Times TV guide, and Woah yes they have. There obviously using hair dye, make up et al, to cover most of it, and it's quite convincing on screen.

The new episode was pretty good, even if that random Russian chick had better not appear in further episodes for the sake of Dwarfness. It certainly the essence of classic Dwarf in there, but the atmosphere suffered a little for the lack of a studio audience. Hopefully it'll pick up a bit more for the next two parts.

Also, Gunmen of the Apocalypse, anyone?

The new one last night was all right, but the reason Red Dwarf was funny in the old days was because it had bad writers and crappy graphics. Now they have very good and modern writers attempting to write like retards and the graphics from Dr. Who. All a bit to mainstream for its own good now I'm afraid, I hope there is an improvement next episode.

Apart from the random unexplained Russian chick I thought it was pretty funny. I kinda missed the laugh-track though, which is strange. It just didn't seem as fast-paced.

There were definitely some LOL moments though.

i thought in the last episode they all crossed over to the reality where everything was opposite to avoid the nano virus thing, but now there on a ship where rimmers a failure again and nobodys alive, except them.
