I loved the old Red Factions but this is pure gold for me. A fantastic buy. My only problem is now I wont have money for Prototype

I have to agree with you about Prototype, I have really been looking forward to that game.
So you have played the other two?
On comparision don't you think that this game is nothing like the others. Don't get me wrong I think the game is brilliant, just not as good as the others.

I played the originals, but if this game has nothing to do with them, why the hell is it called Red Faction!? I played the demo, and I didn't see anything remotely similar to the original games, care to explain?

Funny huh I just started playing it.....2 days ago wow the time goes fast but anyway I personally love it although I do have some complaints like one of my biggest ones is why do some missions require green level to do but the mission beacon is always inside a enemy fort and when you get even close to it enemies fire then you get to red level and it won't go away.

I'll explain it's sort of like when nintendo started out and they made super mario bros. a game based around platforming and fun.....but years down the line we now see him golfing, karting, playing tennis, and throwing huge-ass parties and we can't help but wonder how it happened and why we just go with it.

I noticed it almost first in badlands then few times in oasis (im not very far yet) but I don't know maybe I'm not lucky.

That's odd, and if it is happening in your game then yeah it's a bad mechanic. I finished the game and it never happened me though. I avoided the rescue missions (because escort missions blow), was it on those?
