This is the Trailer for Season 9.
This. Is. Going to be. Epic.
One part that confuses me though is that Washington is talking to the director and hoping that the Meta is saved when, at the end of Season 8, he joined the Blue team.
Unless that part is a flashback, which I highly doubt.

I used to watch RvB.
I remember loving it, but I just fell off at some point, and now I can't be arsed to catch up.

It will probably still have funny. But the more recent seasons have become more serious.

I think it's because it's before the events of RvB. That would explain York being not dead and everything. I also think I saw South Dakota at the end.

I'm excited. It looks like the original cast was there so I'm interested to see how they'll show the Freelancer project and the regular shenanigans of the 2 teams side by side.

I don't really know how to describe what I'm feeling right now. It's a positive feeling, I know that.

They made it more into a drama, but thankfully left the humor in there after they tried taking a serious tone with Recovery 1. Burnie himself I believe said they wanted to try it out, but ended up going back to the comedy after the fanbase disapproved.

Anyway its a prequal to the entire series I think, I don't know, looks epic though.

i've watched the trailer and it seems good - didn't quite understand the whole thing about the director church until my friend explained it to me but it's all good. i'd like to see what they do with this season.

i never cared for the old red vs blue, as i just never found it that funny, but the new season plus the last season i've watched a few with my roommate and they look pretty good, so they might just have a new fan aboard ;]

Looks like this season is gonna be a prequel buddy.
OT: I'm feeling a bit excited. Excited enough to watch the entire series over even.

They made a pretty good storyline out of what was once a fun little parody series IMO. Plus ever since they brought on that animator who came up with Haloid (at least I think that's what I heard they did for the last season) the action scenes have transcended machinimas.

Don't know if its much of a machinima anymore. But I've still loved how awesome they've become now. When I look back at the first episodes the old audio quality was so... terrible.
