Red vs Blue - Season 9

Saw this a couple weeks ago at PAX East and I gotta say it looks like this season is going to be absolutely epic!

It really does, I love the new animations they're giving.

Am I the only one who notices in the trailer there were a bunch of Reds somewhere in the clip (I don't remember exactly where in the trailer). This doesn't necessary means that Sarge, Grif and Simmon are in it maybe it's another bunch of Reds. I suppose we will have to wait and see.

But...but what about the RvB crew? I wanted to see Church, Tex, Sarge, Griff, Caboose and the rest again. I hate it when franchises decided to go backward in time instead of forward.

Although I will admit, this does look pretty cool. Not seeing much humor in it though. And I find I'm suddenly very curious as to how Wash and Meta were beaten by simulation troopers that weren't 'our' simulation troopers.

Yeah, I'm kind of confused, myself. When the mentioned "simulation troops", I assumed they meant "the gang". Sarge, Grif, Caboose, etc. But then they go all "before Red vs. Blue..."

I don't get it. It still looks awesome, though.

Its a prequal to the entire series, So we might get a little background info on how the teams came together through Churchs eyes while he is looking for Tex. Also if you watch the trailer you do see the gang in some shots.

Oh, thank you. I thought "wtf, they can't make a freakin' continuation!" And then I saw that it was a prequel. All is well in the world.

Eh I wanted a continue but oh well, backstory is good I wanna see how Grif got into the Red and how he looks, mabey he is *GASP* actually fit and not lazy.......nah

EDIT: Wait....it could be a starting from the ending of season 8 since they both got owned and they said they got jumped and is it me or that Orange guy looks like Grif....is him.....oh god now I want to watch this!

EDIT 2: Acually it said before RvB in the end, danm I wanted to see Grif again but still looks awesome and even better then season 8!

I think what they meant is that "Project Freelancer came before Red vs Blue in the timeline". I think that was just for contextualisation more than anything.

Also, when I saw it I squeeeed like no other.

True, but if this is any indication, it looks like quite a large portion of the show is extra computer animation.

I love Red vs Blue, I'm just saying that anything they do from here on out should not be used as a reference point to compare other machinima to.

So, tonight was the release of the Season 9 trailer for RvB. I watched it about five minutes ago.

Another RvB. I am so happy right now I can't explain it. The end of season 8 was just beyond awesome.

Well they are there in the trailer if you look closely, so I'm assuming we're getting flashbacks at the same time as story progression.

I'm fairly certain I noticed them in the trailer, the bit with all the rocks falling. Watch it again and see if it looks like them.
