I've been frequenting The Escapist for some time now and I've been sick of my music library for even longer. I'm going to back up my music and probably only keep a few artists on my Mac/iPod from the list (like 3). So here's what I have and I'd like to hear your suggestions for new music. Suggest anything you want but Black Metal. It creeps me out. Thanks!

Ever since I read about them on this forum, I cannot recommend a band any more than Rabbit Junk.
They're sort of a digital-hardcore, industrial metal band, I really don't know how exactly to describe them. Just give 'em a listen.

Oh, and Sick Puppies. They're pretty good too.

I'll be the one to say it.

DAFT PUNK.

Particulary their live album "Daft Punk Alive 2007"

It's my most listened album.

Hmm, not enough John Butler type stuff.
You seem to have enough DnB/Techno stuff.

Actually Ed Solo and Skool of Thought's album has a good mix of everything.
From the same album

Suppose that'll do, from what you don't seem to have a lot of. If it wasn't so wide opened a recommendation I'm sure I could think of something better suited.

I know i'll get persecuted for this one.

Insane Clown Posse. I reccommend the 6 Joker Card's albums.

Those albums include

Carnival of Carnage
Ringmaster
Riddlebox
The Great Milenko
The Amazing Jeckel Brothers.
The Wraith: Hell's Pit and Shangri La.

You guys are amazing these bands are fantastic! I'm gonna be going broke faster than I thought. Metric, Rabbit Junk, Sick Puppies, Screaming Trees are the bands I've given just a quick listen so far (I got a lot of listening ahead this week). They all sound great, nothing like I've heard before.

I just have Discovery by Daft now, that's one of the few things I'll keep on my iPod, I'll check out the live album.

Thanks again guys :D

*Got ninja'd by more music, thanks!

Nice, Chiodos was not what I was expecting from a hardcore band! Ed Solo and Skool of Thought and John Butler were solid too.

DazZ suggest whatever you want even if there's a lot of that in my library. I'm pretty much remaking my entire current listening library so I'll take some new techno and DnB if you have it!

Have you tried Poets of the Fall? Their music is very diverse, though they classify their style as 'Cinematic Rock.'

Note: the above song made me sob twice

Just a tip, but when you reply to someone, use the little quote button on the bottom right of their post. That way they get a little message informing them.

Anyway, Maximum the hormone, Filter, Anthrax, and Mindless Self Indulgence off the top of my head.

And Amazon has some free music samplers. Got some testament songs from a nuclear blast sampler.

More bands, Reverend Horton Heat, mighty Mighty Bosstones, Primus, MD.45, Steel Panther, and Fight.

Thanks for the tip and the bands! I'll be back once I give these guys a decent listen.
