Redundant sidequests

I love the one in Oblivion when your locked in a house with all these people looking for hidden gold. And you kill them all and then they start accusing each other. The best part is if you do it right, you can get them to kill each other.

I replayed the quest like 4 times.

i too loved that quest. It reminded me of a novel i once read. But i really enjoyed how people started suspecting each other and the only normal person among them was the ex-guard, who i killed the last.

Also, the quest where you went inside a painting was amazing. Everything looked so different, but still cool.

But i don't remember any redundant sidequests...maybe the one form Oblivion where you had to kill a lot of fish ?

Some of the stuff Borderlands made you do was just plain weird. You want me to shoot bird shit of a wind turbine? Why?

Because the shit was stopping the turbine and they needed the electricity from it?

All of the delivery sidequests in Spirit Tracks were hell for me. And the stamp collection! It's fun, but for what? Clothes I'm not going to wear?

Yea that assassins quest was based on the Agatha Christie book "And Then There Were None" but that story took place on an island and there were 10 people.

Snake VS Monkey in MGS3. Sort of a side-quest-game. Good times.

Save your allies in L4D/2. Coop is always hilarious when only you and the other human player leave the 2 computers behind to die. Not really much of a sidequest but it's always fun to fail it.

In the TES games, I don't do stupid sidequests as such - I do stupid little minigames, like shoot arrows into a chair and then sit on it, kill all the kwamas in a mine, and kill a random person just because they were annoying.

Dude. Minigames and dicking around are honestly so much fun to do! You sir, have my utmost respect!

AS for myself...I might be willing to redo the Kill 500 Shinra Troops mission in Crisis Core. If I start playing it enough to get back to that point.
