But when 90% of the time I see a Pony thread, there are thousands of pictures, references and quotes from the show.
Star Wars and Trek might've been memes if they were created now. Look at inception - the only thing the Internet remembers about it is the meme "We need to go deeper". Memes destroy things. If there were no MLP memes, I would've tolerated the show. But the constant barrage of pictures and etc just repulses me.
