people were getting hyped over The last guardian for 9 bloody years with having literally zero hints or confirmation of it still coming out. that was perfectly ok for Sony fans to do though.

Not really. They were hyped the first two years after it was announced with a trailer and an actual title, then lost that hype once it was revealed the production was in trouble -- at which point it became a vapor ware joke -- then regained some of that hype once it got a proper in-game trailer at E3 '15 along with a release date.

on GT the people making a vaporware joke out of Last guardian were the Xbox, Nintendo and PC fanbase's who couldn't believe just how desperate for Last Guardian the Sony people were



Reggie might be just some "glorified PR guy" to you guys. but he also happens to be the head of Nintendo America that also plans their E3 every single year. but of course, since all he is just a "glorified PR guy" Reggie couldn't possibly know anything at all about what's going on behind the scenes at Nintendo. nor could he ever hint at anything going on behind closed curtains

you're only fooling yourself if you actually believe that there will be next to no further announcements at all for the Switch in the remaining 11 and a half months of this year.

nope because Nintendo didn't show everything this week Switch will be DOA for the entire year

Whether he does or doesn't, I'm not going to just take his word for it. I don't care if it's the head of Nintendo Japan; talk is cheap, and vague indications are worth even less.
