The most exciting part of this is that KOTOR II is finally Windows 7 compatible. I'm so happy.

PS: is this Australian EB Games? I checked online but there's nothing. I can't even remember if we have a decent stock of PC games in my EB store...
I live in Canada, we also have EB Games. In fact the Gamestop/EB Games Distribution center is just a half hour drive from where I live. So far this looks like it might be a North American thing, which is a shame for Aussie gamers.

Was the first one a puzzle game too? I found outcast lying around the house and thought,"Cool, a Star Wars game" then I found out it was a puzzle game and thought, boo! I wanted to be a jedi not have to roam around solving stupid puzzles and occasionally use force powers.
It's not a puzzle game, it's just an old school shooter. The Dark Forces/Jedi Knight Series got progressively simpler as time went on.

The first game was the Star Wars equivalent of Doom, and it had some incredibly annoying puzzles in it. DF2/Jedi Knight 1 had some tricky puzzles towards the end, but it was more about huge open levels and dicking around with The Force.

Jedi Outcast really only had one or two devoted puzzle levels, one being the Jedi training on Yavin IV.

Jedi Academy had almost none, and it had a ton of lightsaber combat.
Well when I say puzzles I really mean having to run around and find things so that you can progress. Kind of like a point and click. I am probably going to get Jedi Academy sometime but Jedi Outcast was hard. I had to use a guide on the first level and when I found out that all the levels were like that I quit. I haven't really played any old school shooters though. I am used to kill the things and then progress. Not kill the things, find a way around the obstacle, progress.

Wait if it works on Windows 7 does that mean it'll work on Vista? (Yes yes I know get a decent OS, and yes captcha I am an old hat)
Well I don't know about KotOR 2 but I got KotOR 1 running on my vista, but it worked better on windows 7. I find that strange. if it does work for you, save before leaving taris. I crashed so many times after that. It couldn't take the amount of cutscenes. Then when I played it on my windows 7 it didn't crash once. Maybe it is the computer not the OS though.

Yeah, I really really need a digital version of KotOR II (coffee spill killed my disc drive). I hope they come out with one.

FALSE ADVERTISING.

KOTOR 1 is one of the greatest Star Wars video games ever, not KOTOR 2. I would rather get an old Xbox and a copy of the game or just purchase it on the XBLA.

Yeah, well, that's just like, your opinion man. KOTOR 2 is bloody fantastic, and everyone owes it to themselves to play it. They're both awesome for different reasons.

I have played KOTOR 2. That's how I know it's bad. It may not be the worst game in the Star Wars franchise, but it certainly doesn't deserve to be hailed as one of the greatest. Again, my opinion.

Yeah...KotOR 2 is also my favorite Star Wars game and one of my favorite games period.
But I fully appreciate the reality that opinions are opinions. And even though my opinion is, like, totally better than your opinion, I respect your right to have a wrong opinion.

I'm so diplomatic it hurts

The Snip Strikes back
It is NOT a puzzle game, but it does have puzzles in it, usually revolving around the force. The only one I know of is Star Wars: Puzzle Blaster (2005) released for the cell phone.

So now I can own the game on cd DVD and digitally? This is a good week, apart from my pc dying. Once I get my new one though, this will be the first thing on it
