I've been with my boyfriend for four years. We broke up for a couple of months a year ago, dated other people and then ended up back together because we missed what we had so much. I've been with other people and had terrible relationships, so I can only assume this one is so good because I've found a compatible person. I love having a sexual partner I can be totally uninhibited with, who knows what I like and who I can be sure isn't going to give me herpes. I like having someone who knows my family and who I can take to family meals and on holiday. I like that we can spend three days in bed playing co-op Halo and eating pizza and not get bored of each other.
I'm about to go to uni (tomorrow) and a lot of people tell me I should break up with him and just have fun. Yes, it would be great to just fool around, but it's not worth all the things I'd lose. Y'know, like his snoring and his waking up at 3am and asking me to go get him a sandwich...
Relationships are great if you've found a great partner. Relationships are a terrible thing if you've found a bad partner.
