Probably some of the total war games during the campaign, or any turn based RTS's. I usually just sit back relax and plan my next move without feeling rushed.

I just borrowed Crackdown from a friend of mine. Its pretty relaxing. I just sit back in my comfy chair blasting Lamb of God over the not very important narrator guy while jumping ridiculously high blowing people's heads up just by looking at them. Calms the nerves.

What's that game where you're a hacker and you hit the buttons in time to make music and defeat bosses and such?

That's a relaxing game.

One of the very few things Nintendo got right.
That and saving the industry of home videogaming back in the 80's. That was pretty cool of them.

When I was in Japan, I had little to relax me besides Stepmania and Tsukihime. Thankfully, they worked wonderfully.

I might actually recommend a few visual novels besides Tsukihime, as well...

I read a Let's Play that turns a game based on cute cuddly animals into a hellish nightmare that will haunt you until the end of your days. It completely ruined any happy relaxing aspects of that game for me forever. http://lparchive.org/LetsPlay/Animal%20Crossing/index.html

Crayon Physics Deluxe
Edit: Just read, btw, that they're offering a "pay whatever you want" deal for the game, so you can buy it for as little as a penny. It's well worth more, but that's up to you. The music's relaxing, and the game is pretty laid back and casual. Even better with a WACOM if you have one.

Rebuy, IT's FUCKING WORTH IT.
Nah, I'm good when it comes to Burnout anyways. I've played that game to the point where it's boring.
