Surprising how tight some posters are on here, it's not revolutionary in any way but it's hardly offensive and there's some very cool design elements.

It's well worth buying it at $14 if you enjoy similar games

$14? Definitely.
More? no way. I've been playing through it (doing a Let's Play, actually), and it's... decent. While the combat is repetitive, once you get into it's rhythm, it just seems to not be there anymore. You stop noticing it being bad. The climbing sections are a bit like uncharted. I haven't gotten far enough in the story yet to judge that, but the silly names they give organisations and characters (Errorist, Edge, Bad-Request) either give you giggles or make you lose your sides, so it's entertaining enough, though not in the way the studio intended.
The one place where this game positively shines is art style and visuals. Remember Me is a beautiful game, and worth playing just for the way it looks. The first chapter in the slums is meh, but once you get past the first memory shuffle, it's real pretty.

I'd say go for it. For $14 you won't be dissapointed.

Do you like crappy, repetetive, pretentious games wiht one maybe interesting feature that it also manages to butcher?

Then get Beyond Two Soulds instead.

I'm sorry, to me at least its not worth it. I even feel cheated for the time I spend with it (~ 90 minutes). To me, Remember Me sucks.

If its already going for so cheap that cannot be a good sign. Most I have talked to that have played it say the same thing. Its just ok. Something tells me they don't really believe that though they just don't want to think they wasted the money.

Ya it's worth it for the assets at least because they are high fidelity, if you would want to play it... well it's up to you.
Closest game is Arkham Asylum, except this is set in neo Paris so it's all very clinical and the writing in RM is most likely written by someone who isn't a writer, the sort of sci-fi story one scribbles on a piece of paper as a teen and then never want to show anyone because it's just that lame.

Saying the closest thing to it is Arkham Asylum is a huge compliment, though.

OP if you have a PS3 and Playstation Plus there's a chance you'll get Remember Me for free next month as that's what EU members are getting. I'm afraid I won't know what the game itself is like until then though, free > $14 every time for me.

I'd say it is worth $14, it wasn't great by any means, but it was compelling enough to make one play through. The combat is a bore, and the pathing is pretty well laid out for you, but there are some genuine moments of brilliance every once and a while (such as the memory replay thing). Outside of that, you have to decide if $14 is worth it for a game you know you would only play once, or if you should try to find it at a redbox or rent it from gamefly.
