Well, do you?

It appears that Friday has a special reserved seat for all the reality TV vote-off things now, I remember when it used to have Southpark and all kinds of funny stuff on.

Now, the only days I don't really watch TV on are Mondays and Fridays.

So, my question to you is what is your favourite day for TV? And what do you watch on this day?

Mine would have to be Thursday, with shows like The Daily Show, The Mentalist, Reaper and it used to have My Name is Earl and The Big Bang Theory(R.I.P.)... If they moved The Life & Times of Tim to Thursday it would be the best TV day hands down.

EDIT: Actually, come to think of it... Maybe Friday seemed so good because the other days didnt really have anyhing on. :D

Also, I could have totally put a "Poll" in here... Ah well. :D

Agreed. I still remember the Transformers animated show every weekend, the original one, that is.

Why wait for a day of the week when you have BBC News 24?
I don't actually ever remember Friday having good TV. All I know is that nowadays it's usually just drivel until after 9PM.

I know!

Why are all the interesting and good programs on during the damn working week?! When all of us need to be at school or work early the next morning?!

For me, Monday was good, because Spooks was on. Tuesday was Heroes, and Wednesday was Life on Mars. Of course, now that two of those series' have ended, and one has caused me to lose all interest, I just play games. At least I can control when those end.

The only show I really bother to watch any more is South Park, which still comes on Fridays for me.

Pretty much this. There is "Have I Got News For You" on sometimes though...

Thursdays. Hands down thanks to Reaper, The Inbetweeners and Big Bang Theory. Oh and Scrubs.
Half them shows aren't on at the moment though, so yea, like someone else who has posted I have turned to gaming more frequently. Or just buying my favourite shows on DVD :D

Back to what you asked though: Yes I do remember (and for the first time in my life I feel old lol) in the good ol' days looking forward to a Friday night line up of TV

Its most certainly is not good, and I wont stand for it.

*runs to nearest TV studio screaming TV-related profanity, sadly they saw him coming and locked the doors at the last moment.*

I wouldnt mind if they put 2 good shows in the line-up on Friday, but at the moment there is one okay one and that is "8 out of 10 cats" which is highly subjective to the guests they have on.

TV has too many reruns nowadays. Shows go for like 4 episodes, then they go into reruns for a month. When I was a kid, shows would go at LEAST 4 months without doing reruns.

Like Discovery channel: They absolutely PASTE their network with reruns. It's to the point that I can't even tell when a new show is ON. It also dilutes the product. Wish they'd chill on that. I love "Deadliest Catch", but not so much I want to see the old episodes 20 times in a week.

For me a good night was EVERY night during the 90's and Saturday monrnings on Fox Kids...now that political correctness an general censorship have reared their ugly heads anything that has the potential to be great and hilarious is dumbed down to boring Reality TV and forced joke sitcoms

I agree that Thursday is probably best these days (Reaper/BBT/Mitchell and Webb/Michael Macintyre). But then again I don't bother with tv much these days due to their terrifying volume of crap on. I usually just watch Criminal Minds or Family Guy over the internet, or Time Team cuz about 20 channels show it so it's always on when I'm in the mood =)
