My earliest game I remember playing was star siege and tribes. My grandpa (he is a gamer :D) got me into them. Also played monkeys island.

A Disney game on the Sega Genesis where Mickey flashed a cape in front of creatures to make them disappear.

First game that I actually spent any time with was Red Alert. Fifth grade, hiding in the attic with a mate trying to clear up 50MB on an old computer so we could play that gem.

looking back,I have no clue,I can't even figure out which system.my childhood memory is pretty much messed up.

maybe because I cleaned toilets with chemicals as a child...or sucking on arsenic treated wood...or the plant food I ate...

The very first video game I played? Mario Bros.

The very first PC game I owned (which I think is more in line with the question, personally)? Sensible Soccer. Man, what a classic. Then Total Mania. Wish I could play that, such an awesome game in my head.

My first video game was on a PC, and it was Runescape. However, after playing that for five minutes, I moved on to Age of Mythology and killed everyone with hydras.

Oddly enough, my mom
Bwahaha, sorry, i don't know what you wrote after those 4 words but it can't be anywhere near as funny.

On topic: I remember getting something along the lines of a TV Boy when i was about 5 or 6 that came with like 70 or so games built in that are mostly just emulations of older games. My first 'proper' game would probably be Rascal for the Playstation, which i got before i actually got the console.
You sick, sick man

Yeah but I never played the SNES before Super Mario 64, and I still love SM64 the most because is was the most innovative Mario game for going 3D.

I remember that the first game that I beat was Starcraft. I was swept up in the story. Either that or it was Croc for the Gameboy Color. I remember that I was surprised that games ACTUALLY ended at some point.

I played Super Smash Bros. on the N64 at my cousins' house when I was young, and the first game I owned was Pokémon Gold, which to this day is one of my favorite games of all time. I'm so pumped for Heart Gold on the DS.

I forget what it was called but it was this really old rpg on our apple II
Emin? Or something like that? It was kinda an RPG/Zork type game?

Mine was probably Defender on the Apple IIe. (If it wasn't that, it was something else on the IIe.)
