There has been always a thing that saddens me about gaming, that feeling of being clueless and that thrilling rush you get every time you start a new adventure on a brand new never-played-before game is so unique and awesome, yet, you could not ever relive it, since you remember what to do, or what comes next.

So, what I ask is this: If you could erase all memories about one particular game, just so you could replay it as if it was new and exciting, what game would you choose?

I'd personally erase TESIV: Oblivion or Dragon Age: Origins. Oblivion because all quest (besides the main story) were awesome and unique in their own way (Although all occur in a fucking cave), and Dragon Age: Origins because the story is just so great and fantastic; I'd love to feel that thrill when I'm told "Yeah, you gonna die if you kill the Archdemon".

The legend of zelda: ocarina of time. There is just so much to explore, I would love to see it all for the first time again.

Yeah, I have to completely agree with this. I love that game so much and would love to play it again from a blank slate. I hope Skyward Sword can give the same feeling.

Mass Effect 1 and 2. Also, if I could go back to the way the game was when I started playing aswell (launch of TBC)... WoW. Nothing like the feeling you have when youre running around in Deathkneel hacking at zombies with your awesome Forsaken Warrior for the first time.

Well if I work down my list of favourite games I find plenty of them are totally replayable and as enjoyable as ever even when you remember everything about them.

But my first experience with Silent Hill 2 was special. A game more reliant on quality storytelling and atmosphere than gameplay. And some of the scripted moments are just terrifying the first time (e.g. coming out of a room to see Pyramid head on the other side of a gate, not more than three feet from you).

I guess beyond good and evil at a first guess but to tell the truth my mind has compensated for my video game habit a long time ago.(or at least that's what I like to think) you see I have a very bad memory but only in trying to bring back the memories I have. so I can play a game I've played a month ago as if it's as if it's the first time. I'm lucky that way :)P)

While there are a few tempting options, I'd have to say Planescape: Torment, without a doubt.
