Just the other day, I was thinking it'd be great fun to be involved in something like this. Not sure if my voice is exactly what you're looking for, but I'll give it a go.

I've been told that I have the voice of a 40 year old chain smoker. I've also been told that I talk in an emotionless monotone drone. I think I might not be what you're looking for. :p

I've always been interested in trying out voice acting, but my voice is just really, really bad. :(

Okay, I'm interested, but I'd be a complete amateur at voice acting. (The one I'd be interested in auditioning for is either Ami or Jesia)

It'd be helpful if you had clips of how you'd want the line to be spoken, though I'm guessing you're willing to be a bit flexible with that.

Also, for Jesia, by "well spoken"... Could you elaborate on that a little. Do you mean sort of... Posh?
Yeah these lines are used so we can hear you voice more than anything else so we are more flexible.
And yes with Jesia I mean posh when I said well spoken.

DAMMIT.

I can't send the files to you. After all that, my email can't send files over 25MB. DAMN YOU, YAHOO!

Any other way I could get these files to you? They're 81MB and 93MB. Lemme know.
Upload them to dropbox, and then send them the download link?

Just one question, do you care if australian?
The upside of the project is that the school that the story is based in is pulling students from all around to world in to it so I can be much more relaxed on accents, as long as you're accents should not be much of an issue

I might give this a go just to see what I can do. Hope you don't mind a London accent (not cockney, more like those used in Ghibli films).

I considered applying for this until I read the transcripts. You will never get a good performance out of anyone having them read those lines. They are grammatically confusing and lack any of the characteristics of speech. (Filler etc)

That said the general gist of them is fine. Would you be ok with an actor that ad libs those lines? They need to be longer, with more pauses, and little bits of coricumlocution during those massive shifts in tone and subject that keep occuring mid sentence. People might well say those things but never in the way they're written. The acting will always sound wrong if those lines are read as they're written.

I was going to put in for this, but then I looked at the characters. None of them would be suited for my deep, gravely voice.

Looks like it could be fun. I've done a tiny bit of voice acting before and thoroughly enjoyed it, so why not? I'll give it a go :)

Oh, i'd certainly like to take part in this projects. I'm gonna record the lines of the male characters... I'll let you decide if my voice is what you have in mind for them.

HELPFUL HINTS FOR PEOPLE APPLYING FOR VOICE-OVER WORK:

-Don't describe yourself as inexperienced if nobody asked.
(Offer credentials if you have them. If not, just introduce yourself and let your audition speak for itself.)

-Don't give reasons why you think you might not be right for the part.
(Just let the quality of your audition speak for itself.)

-Don't ask basic questions about what equipment you might need to do the job properly.
(At least, don't ask the person you want to give you the job. Ask elsewhere.)

-Don't ask about pay until you have a job offer.
(C'mon, dude. Seriously.)

-Don't criticize the quality of the writing.
-DON'T CRITICIZE THE QUALITY OF THE WRITING.
-Don't. Criticize. The. Quality. Of. The. Writing.
("Dear creative person who might want to hire me: Your hard work is shit. You are shit. You clearly don't know what you're doing. Nevertheless, I need a resume filler, so please bring me into your creative endeavor. Who knows... Maybe I can save you from the tower of shit you've built for yourself and lead you heroically into a new golden age of fame and fortune.")

-Don't offer condescending, unsolicited... advice... to...
(Oops. Okay, fair point, The Internet. You win that round.)

Looks fun, I'll have a go!

(Captcha: if it fits. Well, I hope my voice fits. That'd be nice.)

I'd most certainly be interested in this project you have going here. I've been told I've a decent voice, and I'd definitely like to try my hand (so to speak) at voice acting.
