Depends the game, but if it's a game where those things can WORK WITHOUT AND STILL BE GOOD, then I'm full of yes, yes, and more yes. Besides, games of this generation for Xbox and PS3 seem to be shipping out (NOT ALWAYS, SHUT UP FANBOYS) generic voice-acting, character stereotypes, references to other games *cough* Duke Nukem Forever *cough* and stuff like that.

If a new gen game can pull no cinematics or voice-acting, and pull it off WELL, by all means, go for it!
