I bet they could be surprisingly effective for countering deeply ingrained feelings of racism. Next time you see someone on the street act out a stereotype and then you feel like judging an entire race for it, you just take a deep breath and think "Remember Bob from accounting."

I can picture people lining up and going, "Hi. I need an X who isn't Y to help remind me that not all Xs are Y."
