Replay value

I would like to submit Metroid Prime to the Argument that FPSs can have a HUGE replay Value, biased solely on Single payer campaign.
And id even replay MW2 if i had it, simply because i thought it was fun.
And fun is subjective.

Honestly, I play through almost any game I enjoy more than once. When I'm playing for the story, I just wait longer before I replay, because it's more like rereading a favorite book.

how come sport and driving games have so much replay value where as FPS's dont have much at all?

i get that many of you will have replayed many games a few times but what is the number times you've ever played ONE level on compared to how many matches you've played in fifa or madden?

If FIFA and Madden had such great replay value, how come they take up half the used games bin at EB/Gamestop and nobody wants to buy them even at $0.50?

thats because they get traded in when the next years edition comes out

Games with good replay value don't get traded in when the sequel comes out.

Sports games have the replay value of tetris - you play the exact same scenario countless times until you stop sucking. That's not replay value, that's grind. As for FPSs, well, the couple hundred hours of Unreal Tournament botmatches would like to differ.
