10 times. After that it self destructs. And you cannot ever play it again - if you try to install it again it fails, and if you try to bypass that (say, play the game on your buddy's system) it just fails to load for you.

Depends when I get it. Usually it's released by the time I'm completely done with a game so I won't bother going back to get it. However on the occurrence it's out before I finish, I'll probably play it once. I think the only DLC I got seconds for was Shale from Dragon Age because that came out quite early so I still had a couple play-throughs to go through yet by the time it was released.

Seeing as DLC could literally by any sort of software content it's exactly the same as the old "how long is a piece of string"

Depends how much you like the DLC.

You can play it as many times as you want but if you don't like it then it may drive you nuts.

I've replayed the Borderlands DLC a couple of times, but it's the only DLC I've ever bought.

I don't really understand the point in this question though; surely this is just the same as asking, 'how many times have you played a game?'

How many time can you replay DLC? Just curious?
Is this a "mechanics" question, or a "preference" question?

Mechanically, you can play it an infinite number of times.
Preferentially, you may only ever want to play it once or twice.
It's a mechanics question, I wanted to know before I buy it for the first time. I'm very cheap. Thanks a lot brothers & sisters in gaming arms. This means alot to me. Do I replay it in the gmae's main menu?

There's a play limit on all DLC, including, say, horse armor. If you spend too much time on/with it, your game just resets and wipes all your saves.

On a similar topic, aren't stupid topics always fun? Sigh.
You know I don't need you to make me feel stupid because I don't know something. Jerk!

Depends on the game, and on the DLC. Which DLC for which game are you getting? Say, if you completed Shivering Isles in Oblivion, you could only repeat the quests if you started a new save file, or if you downloaded the DaVinci quests in AC: Brotherhood, you can replay them from the pause menu. Still, no DLC is ever "lost forever". ...well, discounting some microtransactions for "Moar Gold!" and such.

Depends on the DLC. If you ever bought an expansion you'll find your way through it. In most cases the content of the DLC has to be found ingame during normal play, then there are a few exceptions where you can access the new campaign / content through the menu.

What is the game in question?

Oh, and just that I won't lose respect from the cool crowd here:

Oh you stupid little man not knowing how DLC works despite the fact that people here in this forum tend to whine about DLC for weeks at a time. *wink wink*
Batman: Arkham City, Harley Quinn's Revenge. Thanks for the help everyone.

Good to know.

Dlc requires the original game, so how many times it can be replayed is directly related to how much you can replay the original game. That being said, if we're talking in years, months, or weeks, or even the day after the first playthrough, each situation will vary heavily.

Okay, for that one I'm not entirely sure, I bought it during the steam sale but have yet to find time to play Arkham City again.
Tragic, just like my big brother.

Just curious, was/is Harley Quinns Revenge it`s money worth? I`m really interested in playing Rocksteadys version of Robin, even if it`s not freeroam.
