I don't replay most games. But the few games I do replay, I tend to replay a lot of times. Generally because they tend to be short.

The good thing about this year and there being precious little coming out that interests me, it means that I can go back and replay games that I loved. I just replayed Deus Ex: Human Revolution and found that I could actually do the stealth, though not enough to not set off any alarms. I also played Infamous 2 good/evil playthroughs back to back. And I actually enjoyed Uncharted 3 so much I actually played it about 4 times back to back to get the Platinum.

If I hadn't found an imported copy of Tales of Graces f when I had a look in Grainger Games, I would probably be replaying Arkham City or something else now.

If I like the game, yes, yes I do.

Resident Evil 2, 3, 4
God of War 1, 2, 3
inFamous 1, 2
Ratchet and Clank 2, 3
Okami
Journey
Fallout: New Vegas
Shadow of the Colossus
Uncharted 2
LoZ: Wind Waker
Silent Hill 1, 2
Metal Gear Solid 1, 3

And many more.

If I really like a game, I gorge myself on it and replay it to death.

Yes.

Very often. For instance, I replayed MGS4 15 times. Even very long games can get multiple replays from me.

I often start again right after finishing it the first time.

Replayability is not necessarily something I look for in a game, but it usually lets me enjoy a game a lot more.

I replay pretty much every game. I love playing a game again and tackling it a different way, using different weapons, or just explore different areas. Or sometimes just to gather some trohies (Yay, Demon's Souls Platinum!).

Depends what reason there is for replaying. If playing through on a harder difficulty seems worth the gamerscore then I'll replay instantly, like with Mass Effects and DE:HR.
If its a damn good game I may play it several times in a row. My record is 5 straight playthroughs of DA:O.
Other games are worth it for particular things, like I keep coming back to Red Faction: Guerrilla purely for the first hour or so of gameplay just to smashy smash.

I usually never even finish a game unless I really happen to get into it. There's only a handful of games I replay every few years or so, usually old childhood favorites. The ones I've replayed the most are probably Super Mario 3 (number one by far), Ocarina of Time, Earthbound, Super Metroid, Diablo 2, and Doom.

Sort of. If I particularly enjoyed it then I might come back and play it again at some point. Once or twice I have started a new playthrough immediately but I'm generally not inclined to do that. A lot of the time I actually never finish the game. I get bored and distracted and go do something else. I then come back a while later having forgotten everything that has happened up to that pint so I'll start again. I will do that multiple times with the same game. This is the reason I have never beaten Ocarina of Time (or any LoZ game to be honest), KOTOR 2, Dragon Age and Alpha Protocol.
So I know the start phase of those games really well now.

I often replay WRPGs immediately after my first playthrough, using a different class or play style, or choosing different dialogue/story options just to see how differently things could have been. Its also a good time to beef up the difficulty to as high as it goes and get the real deal version of the game.

For most other games I will replay them maybe a couple of years later, except for the Half Life games, which are an annual thing for me. As well as Persona 3/4, often I will often just have a game of these going and chip away at it a couple of times a week in my spare time.

So yea, I'm always looking for a game with good replay value.

I do.

Very!

It all depends.

Extremely!

When new games (or new-to-me games) start to get a little stale I go back to games I played before (assuming I still have them with me). When it comes to a game having good replay-ability, I wouldn't spend full price on a game that I couldn't play over and, over (I don't factor in Multiplayer unless there's split-screen). I don't replay all of my games but there are a lot of games that I go back to. Some of them I still find new stuff in (any given Elder Scrolls or, Fallout). Others I go back through even though I've seen absolutely all of it (Turtles in Time and, Halo)

Diablo II - a lot (I count a char beating Baal in A5 Hell as a playthrough not lvl 99)
MW2 - 3 replays including spec-ops (it's underrated ok?)
COD4 - 4
COD1 - 2
WaW - 2
Black Ops - 2
Sid Meier's Pirates - 2
Assassin's Creed - 2 (also underrated)
FEAR - 2
RE:ORC - 3 (RE fetish)
Return to Castle Wolfenstein - 2 (I had low(-er) standards back then)
Half Life 2 - 2 (obligatory "good" game)
GTA IV - 2
BF3's aircraft mission - 6 (benchmark purposes, admiring graphics)

Most of the time if a game is any good, i'll replay it within a few months.

Sometimes if i'm absolutely obsessed with a game like what happened with ME1 or Guild Wars i'll replay it 2-3 times in a row

I often replay games, yes. Especially lately, since IMNSHO recent releases get more and more lacklustre. I own a ton of older games, many of which I've never beaten, so I tend to pick ones I've played, sometimes even a lot, but I've yet to complete. But I often replay games I've already beaten. These are the alltime favourites, mostly the IE game (BG, IWD, PS:T) and other RPG's. Funny adventure games like Monkey Island or Grim Fandango also get the replay treatment regularly.

I always think to myself, "oh wow that game was so fun, i think i might play it again", Then ill either play it until i have to do something else and won't pick it up again until the cycle comes round again. Or I will pick the game up, just about to play it and remember something that i disliked about it.

I generally play through any game I enjoy repeatedly.

Especially Bethesda games. I've got prolly about fifty characters in Fallout 3.

do you?

Depends on the game.

Most Western RPGs I do not because of their structure. When I feel that I've done enough in the game, I walk away and not pick it up again.

JRPGs I replay atleast three times because I tend to play them for the story. That way, I can understand all that I can about the game and not feel cheated at the end.

Action games Atleast twice.

how often?

Ask and answered

after what period of time?

Action games right after I finished the first time. RPGs, I wait a few months, sometimes a year before I get back into them.

is replayability somthing important you look for in a game? [sic]

Not particularly.

Yes, i do. The last time was Batman:AC in ng+ with big head mode but there are lots of other games i keep replaying. Sometimes it`s right after the first time for trophies, trying cheats or game modes and sometimes it takes a few months before i feel like going back. When nothings on tv i tend to replay todays short fps. Cod is always good for this.

Yes. Though not as much now as compared to the pre-trophies/achievement days. When I've gotten my platinum or the majority of the achivements I generally don't feel any urge to ever play the game again.

Around one-two years after I last played it, unless the games are awesome(like the God of War series or The Saboteur).

Not really. I tend to look at game length and enjoyment vs cost when I decide if I should buy a game or not.

Yes, yes I do.

And sometimes it can be rather often. And the weird thing is, there's times where I'll replay immediately. Not even a few weeks of waiting inbetween, nope. Right away.
that doesnt feel right somehow...yet...

I dont know, I was just trying to play batman AA and I just wasnt feeling it...
Hmm. Well it is kind of weird that I do that since I did just play the game and know everything that will be going on. But the thing is I can really get into playing the game. I mean I'll pour countless hours into it in a single week and beat it quite quickly. And when I get... obsessed... like that it's so easy to go back to playing the game again since I still want more. I mean, it's after that kind of behavior that I usually find that I replay a game immediately. Also sometimes just having other options gets my curiosity going.
Apparently, Mortai feels kind of like me. I often replay games. And often it's immediately after playing them once. About midway though a game or so, I sometimes get fascinated with wanting to approach it from a different angle, so by the time I finish it, I have plans for at least another plathrough. Obviously that applies mainly to games where you have some degree of freedom. When I finished Morrowind with my thief-thingie class, I then played as a pure mage. When I played Arcanum the first time as a mage, I now play it as a thief. And I have plans for at least a couple of other characters (dwarf gentleman engineer who wields firearms and then another mage this time evil as hell, who would just summon his own army and kill anybody who gets in his way).

I also replay games after quite a while. I replay Might & Magic 7 (BTW - first play I went good, then immediately again but evil) at least once a year or like every 12-16 months. Same with Fable.

And I've lost count of how many times I've replayed Bloodlines. And I do mean it, I'm not just using that phrase just because it sounds cool. I've played the game at least two times with every clan (first time I installed it I went through it with all of them) and then I have extra replays with Malks, Nosferatu, Tremere, Toreador. Probably some other clans. But yeah, I stopped counting after 20. I know the walk paths of some pedestrian NPCs by heart now, including which model they are using.
