Explaining all the reasons this is idiotic would take ages....

Pffft.

The news about these DC movies is just one big perpetual mess of terrible ideas....

Every time I think the Fantastic Four movie news is bad on a level far beyond the DC movie news, the DC movies prove that they're not far behind.
It'd almost be impressive if it weren't so damn frustrating.

Nah, its just them brushing over the words in the bubble with white so that they can insert their own text. Its a common thing. I did asearch by image on Google, couldn't find the original, but I found a thread on it on Reddit where one poster said the actual line was "To murder Superman in his Fortress..." and they end up fighting in the next issue, so it seems like thats the truth.

That is super obvious now that you say that. I should have assumed it was edited given the nature of the conversation, the slightly-whiter-than-the-other-ones speech bubble, and this being the internet.

Still made my day though.

Come on guys April Fools is less than three weeks from now, you should've saved it for then, it would've been hilarious.

Funny, I was just thinking about if it would be any different if Batman was gay, and I came to the conclusion that it really wouldn't.

When you think about it, Batman's never really getting laid is he? He's psychotically obsessed with crimefighting.

Well there has never been a more perfect time to link this:

Is that a legit comic? The art looks high-quality. I'm just wondering for...reasons. Their expressions in the last panel are just perfect.

Time to google

It's quite well done, though, the lettering is very close to the original.

*cracks up and nearly falls off his chair* Oh my GOD, that's hilarious. Lasso of truth, so very very very socially dangerous. XD

The sad thing about this is, the way that DC/WB are handling the decisions about the movie(s), it gives you pause to think that this couldn't be real could it. You look for evidence to find that it is fake, whereas, if they were making better decisions you would assume it to be false and look for evidence of truth.
