REPORT: Local Theater to Play "Best of the Fappening"

The Rialto, a local movie theater in Raleigh NC, has announced that they will show "Best of the Fappening," a film that shows the "highlights" of the recent celebrity nudes leak.

"We really feel that this is film is an embodiment of the indie spirit; no other theater would show it so it's fallen on us to get it out to the public" said Rialto owner Terence Warren.

We sat down to talk to the director, Pat Hoffman, to get his thoughts.

What inspired you to make such a film?

I speak for every guy who first saw those pics; I am the average fapper. I find it similar to wanting to play a video-game

Don't you think some will find this film exploitative?

The film is just nudes for an hour and a half. Is that it?

Well yeah, but I also gave it the film treatment; 24 frames per second, IMAX and 3D viewings, all that good s**t! You can't get that kind of experience just in front of a computer. Pirates man, amiright?

But the pictures were "free" online already

I'm selling an experience, something people will remember for the rest of their lives

At the expense of celebrity privacy?

What an absolute travesty! I can't believe that someone would make a movie of this nature! I am outraged! And angry! I'm outraged and angry! I can't believe that this kind of invasion of privacy would be allowed. This is quite possibly the worst injustice in the world and I for one will not stand for it!!! Outrage! Anger!

Honestly, I'd be interested to see if one could turn a bunch of very different still images into a decent looking video. Could you CGI something that realistically simulated Jlaw taking off her top if you had a picture of her with her shirt on, one with it being removed sexily, and another with it off?

Considering photo manipulation was already abound, I don't doubt they'd be willing to throw their hand in the ring to aid this most noble of causes. Especially when they'd be getting paid for their valiant efforts.
