so about a week ago i went out and got a 2 for 1 game thing witch had might and magic dark meisah and resadint evil 4 on it i love might and magic and its mostly why i bought this pack anyway i desided to give resadint evil a go and as many of you can gess got pissd with the controlls i desided to play it anyway untill about half a hour in i died because i ran out amo whilst trying to shoot someone while the aim was jumping between just to far to the left and just to far to the right so i desided to try and fix it i pluged in my joy stik witch made it even worse(the buton layout was stupid for egsample the triger didnt do anything) so i got my mate to lend me his xbox plug in controller (i heard you could use them on the pc) and nothing happend wen i pluged it in i then desided to try to find a mod or patch for the controlls i then got a fucking virrus i havent had mutch luck with this damnd thing so i ask you guys if theirs anyway of fixing this sun of a ***** other wise ill never play it witch will be a pitty 1. cos i bloody payed for it and 2. cos i hear its a great game

btw im sorry for bad spelling/puntion i realy suck at boath those things

I would suggest trying to find a computer controller thats just like the ps2 one (or a ps2 one if you can). As for the virus I'm sorry about that. It is an awesome game unless your use to moving and shoting at the same time. A good tip is shot them in the head and run up and do the melee move. Will save on ammo.

It seems only 'games for windows' can use the 360 controller, other than that, a third party mapping program is the only way.

Sucks that you got a virus, but that happens when you download randomly. Try checking the games forum you want to use the 360 controller with. If not, then research a third party controller mapping program before downloading it.

EDIT: The Logitech controller works for most PC games, but it has that crappy playstation setup..... Best of luck to ya tho!

Try playing it on the Wii. Actually, it's not bad on the Wii, I just like making fun of things. Anyway, I suggest you just try and deal with the controls by playing the game a little more. Maybe try and tweak them in the options menu so that they're a little easier for you to learn. Difficult controls is just something you have to deal with in the world of gaming.

Allow me to introduce you to Fire Fox [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html] in fire fox there is an ad-don called "Spell check".

I'm fairly sure that is had a built in spell checker. If not there are ad-dons for it.

This will save you mostly from ridicule if you are a terrible speller, although it can't catch all problems, and it can't deal with different spellings of words that are still words, it'll help.

Its really not worth playing Resident Evil 4 on PC. As a good game that it is its a terrible port to say the least. It looks horrible, the controls are completely screwed and the cutscenes run in a resolution of something like 480x360 (or something like that iirc).

so i should stop my wining and use the game breaking controlls just like you..oh wait you didnt did you? (I use Acme joystick)try playing it with the keybord mate and for everyone going on about my horid spelling and gramer and all that either ignor me or try harder stop complaining i do the best i can

yeah im fine with the generl controlls but wen transferd to the pc its shit i dont even know how to melee the damn game doesnt have any instuctions
